P u r p o s e
Oolong tea is kind of particularly fermented tea. It has become one of most popular beverages in China because of
its sweet grassy taste and unique ower-like aroma. However, oolong tea is lack of body (fullness sensation in mouth)
rather than black tea. This sensory characteristic is one of the reason that oolong tea was less popular than black
tea. (name of product) is created to overcome that problem. Sweet potato tea leaves has body thickness that can
bring fullnes to the mouth together with oolong tea. Its also have sweet aroma similar with steamed sweet potato.
Several research reported that sweetpotato leaves have antidiabetic compounds that reduce blood glucose
content signicantly in model rats. This leaves also has an excellent source of antioxidative polyphenolics (represent
at least 15 anthocyanin and 6 polyphenolic compound) that provide antioxidation, antimutagenicity, anti-
inammation and anticarcinogenesis. So blend of these two product will be both healthy and satisfying.
