functions.
● On the General tab, you can specify that all transformations and data transfer processes that previously
were not included in the data flow object, and whose source and target object are part of the data flow
object, are now included in the data flow object. Once you have made the setting and have saved and
activated the data flow, the transformations and data transfer processes are displayed in the editor.
Related Information
You can use the enhanced data flow copy to create one or more new data flows from an existing one and thus
to swap, recreate or remove the objects in the target data flow.
You can use an existing data flow as a template for other data flows for example or copy a data flow from SAP
BW∕4HANA Content and then adapt it to your requirements.
Related Information
Previously, the system used display components to group process chains. In the SAP BW∕4HANA cockpit, the
application components were called groups. To allow the integration of process chains into the BW Modeling
tools like other SAP BW∕4HANA metadata objects, they are now grouped into InfoAreas.
Process chains are now displayed in the InfoAreass in the BW Repository tree and can be created and opened
using the BW Modeling tools. General functions such as the BW object search or the Open dialog and context
menu functions in the BW Repository tree, such as the where-used list or deleting process chains, as supported
for process chains.
During the upgrade, existing display components or groups are converted into InfoAreas. For more information,
see SAP Note 2732179.
Related Information
Editors are now provided for currency translation and unit conversion in the BW Modeling tools.
For the key date derivation type, there is an editor in the BW Modeling tools. The editor can be called from the
context menu of any InfoArea. The key date derivation type is then assigned to central InfoArea 0BW4_GLOBAL
however.

Related Information
Whenever personal data is stored or deleted in a SAP BW∕4HANA source system , the replicated data in SAP
BW∕4HANA must also be handled accordingly, either by being depersonalized or deleted. This applies for
example in the case of replicated SAP Business Suite or SAP S/4HANA data that is blocked once it has served
its purpose and deleted when the retention period expires. The data protection apps Data Protection
Notifications and Data Protection Worklists help you to process this replicated data in SAP BW∕4HANA by
depersonalizing or deleting it. As a graphical work environment, the Data Protection Workbench also makes it
simpler to edit the affected data flows to take account of requirements arising from data protection laws.
Related Information
You can create analysis authorizations in an app in the SAP BW∕4HANA Cockpit.

Related Information
You can edit master data in an app in the SAP BW∕4HANA cockpit. You can also call this app from the BW
Modeling tools in the characteristics editing screen if the characteristic has master data and/or texts. The
deletion of master data is integrated into this.
Related Information
You can upload files into a DataStore object. The following formats are supported: xlsx, xlsm and csv.
The Data Transfer Process Monitor is now available in the SAP BW∕4HANA Cockpit.
Related Information
The following cube views now support full extraction (@Analytics.dataExtraction.enabled: true):
Due to technical limitations in component SAP_BASIS 750, it was previously not possible to convert UTC time
stamps from the SAP BW∕4HANA statistics tables in ABAP CDS into local user time. All time specifications in
the statistics views and statistics queries were therefore in UTC, not in the local user time. Time specifications
in the views and queries are now made in the local user time. This affects the following planning cube views:
The fields in the query CDS views are only offered in the local user time. Fields that were previously delivered in
UTC are now delivered in the local user time. Two exceptions to this are the query CDS views
Rv_C_RspmDtpLoadQuery (RSPM DTP load statistics) and Rv_C_RspmRequestQuery (RSPM request
statistics). To ensure consistency, certain fields for these views are also delivered in UTC.
Related Information
