Starting as a small set-up in 1986, Creamline is now among the leading milk processing units in south
India
Since ancient times, India has been one of the major consumers of milk and an important supplier and
producer of dairy products. However, in the past few years, large players in the industry have shifted their
focus from the traditional dairy products to offer new products such as cottage cheese and mayonnaise.
At a time like this, Creamline Dairy Products Ltd (CDPL) has remained committed to offering traditional
dairy products in attractive packaging and innovative flavouring.
Established in 1986, the company was started as a small milk processing plant at Jeedipally in Medak
district of Andhra Pradesh. Today, CDPL is well known for pioneering concepts such as 24-hour parlours
and mobile milk-testing laboratories in 1998.
Location
The company is headquartered in Hyderabad. It has regional offices in Bengaluru, Chennai, Nagpur and
Vijayawada. In addition, the company has a state-of-the-art powder plant at Ongole, Andhra Pradesh.
Reach
The company sells its wide range of products through its extensive retail chain –Snowies. Apart from
offering snacks, milk-based sweets and beverages, the company also sells several varieties of ice-
creams at its retail parlours.
The company has also formed a wide network of around 5000 distributors across South India and
Maharashtra.
Products
The company is engaged in the processing and supplying a range of dairy products under its brand name
– Jersey. The company supplies toned milk, whole milk, double-toned milk and slim milk throughout the
southern region.
The company also produces several varieties of milk products in different flavours. All these products are
hygienically processed and have a longer shelf life. Some of the popular milk products produced by the

Infrastructure
The management team at CDPL has laid thrust on upgrading its infrastructural facilities on a regular
basis. The company is committed to providing the best-quality products to its clients using the most
innovative technology. It has adopted good manufacturing practices (GMP) to maintain hygiene and
quality.
The Company has excellent infrastructure with 30 own and 9 associate milk chilling centers, 40 BMCUs, 7
packing stations, 6 sales offices and 1 state of the art powder plant/SBU at Ongole. It has a combined
milk processing capacity of 6.85 lakh liters per day. The company markets its products through a well laid
distribution network comprising of company owned parlors, exclusive franchise outlets, product push
carts. Besides, the company also sells its products through 5000 agents panning across Southern India
and Maharashtra. The company has entered the market of cultured products like Yoghurt, Curd, Lassi
and Buttermilk in 2005 and within a short span made its mark in the dairy market.
Team
To supervise its production facility, CDPL has commissioned a team of competent quality controllers who
have wide experience in the dairy business. Furthermore, there are experienced dairy engineers,
technocrats and specialists working round-the-clock to ensure that all products are manufactured using
the latest technology. It has an overall employee strength of 1300.

Strategic Partnership
The Company entered into strategic partnership with M/s. Godrej Agrovet Limited, the largest animal feed
manufacturing company in the country, in the Year 2005 by offering equity stake of to strengthen its
backward integration with farmers, the primary producers of milk, for compound feed supply. The
Company is open to strategic business tie-ups at national and international level and is looking at export
opportunities to its products.
