Procedure SAMR:

1. Review the negative and positive effects of soil erosion.


2. Let the pupils enumerate/discuss their points based on the result of their community investigation.
3. Explain the task of the class to accomplish.
4. Group the pupils according to their proximity to the site of investigation.
5. Have the groups decide their roles (leader, camera man, video editor etc.)
6. Allow each group to brainstorm their ideas of reducing soil erosion in their assigned area.
7. Each group will present their proposal in Multimedia form on how they will minimize the effects of soil
erosion within the locality.

Assessment Method

Each group will create a separate blog to post their methods of reducing soil erosion in the community in the
form of video or pictures. These blogposts will be shared to their friends/relatives with accounts in order to
gather comments and suggestions and to convince the netizens that their method is the most effective way of
reducing the effects of soil erosion in the community. The activity will be graded as follows:
a. Most number of netizens who agree to their method of reducing the effects of soil erosion
b. Least number of suggestions for improvement
c. Least expenses used in building the method of reducing effects of soil erosion.
d. Greatest number of people who got involved in support of the group’s method.
