5th Grade ELA, Math & Science Study Tips 

Curriculum Night

Did you know your scholar will have a ELA, Math, and Science EOG this year? YES! No 
worries though. We have some resources that are available to help your scholar at home! 

ELA 
● Read for 30 minutes​ a night is extremely important to continue your scholar’s 
growth. We have attached a Standard based Tasks/Questions to ask your scholar as they are 
reading. When you see “RL,” this means they are for fiction books, and when you see “RI,” this 
means a non-fiction text.” 
● Edgenuity ​ (login through the CMS Student Portal): 
○ Click on the Clever Edgenuity App. Students will be asked to provide their username and 
password to their ncedcloud. Have your child put in their information that you can get

from their teacher to log in. Once there you​ will click on the Clever app. 
○ Edgenuity: click on Odyssey, then on to Reading.
