Do you know undergraduate students with entrepreneurial ideas for social change? Event of
interest November 20th! The Be a Changemaker Challenge from Ashoka’s Youth Venture, with support
from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, is an opportunity for students to develop and implement a social
venture with the support and funding to make it happen. Teams will receive social venture planning
assistance; guidance, tools, and support; introductions to allies who provide advice, mentoring and
expertise; and seed funding of up to $1,000.Interested students are invited to attend Venture Lab on
November 20th at the University of St. Thomas in order to kick-start planning during Global
Entrepreneurship Week. Speakers include Ashoka Fellow Terrie Rose, Kirk Ahlberg, Juventino Meza,
Brad Slaker, Brian Peterson, and Solome Tibebu. Students can get details and register for the event at
