To sum up, social media will always born, grow, and change over time. Many social
medias that we can use them to make my life be better and beneficial. But it all goes
back to each of us. How we use social media as best and as much as possible.
 Top Social Media Sites
We live in time where information is just a button press away. When you want to know,
read, write or speak your mind about something that is where social media comes into play.
Social media is one of the biggest elements in our life that we cannot ignore it. It is difficult to
imagine that live without social media in digital era. We will definitely miss the information and
not updated. social media is unlimited. People can post, write, read, share as much as they want.
There are many platforms in social media that already popular and can accommodate it. Three of
the more popular social media sites are YouTube, WhatsApp, and Instagram.

The first popular social media site is YouTube. Social media that founded in 2005 by
Jawed Karim, Steve Chen, and Chad Hurley, successfully collects as many as 2 billion users per
month. What makes this site often visited is YouTube provides platform to sharing videos. This
site allows users to download, watch, and upload videos. Everyone can do these activities freely.
Uploading videos on YouTube also can get paid if you reaching many viewers. Even many
people who have a career in YouTube and they are successful. For the example is Felix Kjellberg
or known as PewDiePie on his YouTube Channel. He successfully earns 114 billion rupiahs per
month.

The second popular social media site is WhatsApp. Application that founded by Jan
Koum and Brian Acton in 2009 and was acquired by Facebook in 2014, is an instant messaging
application for smartphone. WhatsApp actually when viewed from the side of its function is
almost the same as the SMS application on old phones but WhatsApp is not using pulse but
using internet data. WhatsApp also has other features such as WhatsApp allows their users to
send pictures, videos, files, and it has GPS feature. That is why people prefer use WhatsApp to
common SMS application. Even WhatsApp can reach 1.5 billion active users per month.

The third popular social media site is Instagram. Social media site that founded in 2010
by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, has 1 billion active users per month. Instagram is an
application that allows it users to share photos, videos and take photos or videos, apply digital
filters and share them. People often post photos or videos relating to individuals or groups.
Instagram also can used to publication of social actvites and organization. People also can selling
products or services through Instagram by make business account.

To sum up, social media will always born, grow, and change over time. Many social
medias that we can use them to make my life be better and beneficial. But it all goes back to each
of us. How we use social media as best and as much as possible.
