perpetration of intimate partner violence among emerging adults
• Screened patients for co-occurring alcohol misuse and perpetration of intimate partner violence at Hurley Medical
Center Emergency Department in Flint, MI by administering surveys and Timeline Followback assessment
• Enrolled interested patients in technology-assisted therapy and led them in grounding and mindfulness exercise
• Conducted qualitative data analysis of 72 transcribed participant interviews using Dedoose
• Tested randomization and validation of screening and baseline surveys in Qualtrics

• Prepared annual budget proposal for the University’s approval, as well as the annual report, impact reports,
evaluation summary, and inventory reports, assuring that all were submitted according to determined guidelines

• Completed 45-hour training resulting in the ability to staff the helpline alone during 12-hour shifts
