The area where the erection is taking place to be checked by the foreman and the safety
officer. The surface to be perfectly cleaned. The shutter which is fabricated at the Carpentry
yard is lifted safely using the crane. Great care should be taken to lift the shutter. While
hooking the sling, the sling to be put onto lifting eye as per panel drawing. The column is
erected at the required place and proper support is given using push-pull props which is drill
fixed on the slab. Ensure the tie-rods are properly fixed with wing plate, and ensure that
column/wall shutters are well aligned. After all the supports on the shutter are checked the
crane sling is released.

Stripping procedure:

The area where the stripping is taking place to be checked by the foreman and the safety

disengaging wall or column shutters from the concrete surface. Once shutters are
disengaged, crane will lift shutters. All dismantled materials are to be stacked back in its
allotted areas and should not be scattered around site causing tripping and falling hazard.

Concrete Placement Procedure

Concrete will be placed with either crane & skip or Mobile pump. Concrete will be consolidated
by using immersion vibrators and by small diameter vibrators for areas of heavy rebar
congestion. Care is taken not to over vibrate the concrete or use the vibrator to convey
concrete within the formwork. Concrete pouring will be planned and continuous.

The concrete trucks will be guided in and out of the site so that there is smooth flow without
any hindrances to the pour and the public at large. The concrete trucks will be sent to the
concrete sampling area before it is allowed to enter the pour area for carrying out mandatory
quality checks. Appropriate lighting will be installed surrounding the perimeter walls and at the
