Pre-Requisites 
 
● API Program Overview​: Background & current state. Including documentation of 
the current implementation if possible 
● Map of API program org structure​, including key stakeholders & responsible 
owners 
● Key metrics​ on the number of back-end services, API proxies, developers, apps, 
products including analytical KPIs (such as # of calls) if available 
● Historical rate of change​ inclusive of new development, defects, changes etc (3 
months, 6 months, 1 year horizons) - with representative tickets

Delivery Approach 
 
● Srijan consultants will carry out an API program assessment and produce a 
report of the present state, as well as understand the desired to-be state 
● Srijan consultants will provide a formal report of the API program assessment, in 
particular highlighting challenge/risk areas (tech/process debt), potential 
solutions & optimizations, scope for automation, high impact areas & low 
hanging fruit 
● Establish clear goals for an incrementally improved state 
● As per coverage of areas highlighted above and the prerequisite information 
sought in advance, Srijan will advise an optimal team size 
● Srijan and the customer will jointly agree on Service Level Objectives to meet 
● Srijan & the customer will setup a jointly chaired process from their respective 
account SPOCs to handle project management & governance (classically in a 
Kanban model) along with defined roles in a RACI matrix 
● Srijan will setup a JIRA (or equivalent ALM) based process in line with the above 
and provide an initial educational workshop for the stakeholders towards service 
management, including raising tickets, collaboration, self service reporting, etc

● Assessment exercise is carried out onsite. API factory teams are generally 
located offshore, unless otherwise specified 
● Approx cycle time for team deployment will be 2-3 weeks, but a 4-week heads-up 
preferred
