WORKING EXPERIENCE:

In 2001-2003, I joined Kitovu Mobile AIDS Home Care and Orphans programs and I
worked as Food Distributor in implementing a feeding programme for people living
with HIV AIDS in collaboration with Catholic Relief service for 3 years.

I was also involved in mobilizing and sensitizing targeted communities on Food and
Nutrition Hygiene and also identifying needy clients eligible to be provided with food
supplement.

I have been working with community volunteers to identifying areas in the community
water springs.

I was also tasked and supervision of community volunteers to ascertain whether they
are performing their duties with efficiency by visiting them.

I was as well involved in monitoring clients on food projects in their homes assessing
whether they were using well the food provided to them as well as measurement of the
impact using questionnaire.

In 2004, I underwent a training conducted by Kitovu Community Based Health Care

Programme where I did a certificate in Nutritional Rehabilitation, and I dealt with
children with malnutrition by preparing food (kitoobero) and balanced diet.

In 2005-2006, I joined Rubaga where I underwent a training in Guidance and

Counseling for l year. Thereafter I joined Medical Research Council Masaka for my
field placement for one year. During this period, I gained experience in voluntary
counseling and HIV testing.

I provided counseling and Health Education talks to HIV/AIDS clients in Kitovu

Mobile, young and old people in MRC/TASO and community services to the targeted
families as well as monitoring clients so that they know how to solve their problems.

2008, I joined Tunajali Aids control project in Tanzania under ELCT Diocese, as home
based care focal person in Sengerema District. By giving home visiting Counseling and
doing super vision to all PLHIV in communities.

2009, I joined Medical Missionary of Mary, Makondo Health Centre service, training for
development where I have been offering training, counseling kitchen gardening and
hand craft making to windows and HIV positive mothers and Youth with HIV.

PERSONAL ABILITIES.

I am able to work under minimum supervision by being honest, hardworking, reliable

and showing great interest towards all type of people through using good
communicable and interpersonal skills by carrying out counseling skills.
I was involved in home visits to all patience and orphans by giving counseling, House
and material support in form of bedding, clothing and food supplies also meeting,
clothing and food supplies also meeting their medical bills when refereed to hospital or
NGO for treatment services.

I have been involved indentifying children with disabilities (physical mental and
referral to institution supporting children for correction.

I have been working with Orphan Vulnerable children who had dropped out of school
by attaching them to the Local artisan centre for apprenticeship training, Knitting,
Motor cycle mechanic, carpentry welding & shoe repair and making, Tailoring, Hair
dressing.
