AN ACT AMENDING RA 7227 GRANTING TAX INCENTIVES TO CLARK SPECIAL

ECONOMIC ZONE (CSEZ)

Explanatory Note

This bill expressly gives tax incentives to Clark Special Economic Zone (CSEZ). It

would be for the best interest of the people to give Duty Free Shopping Privileges not only to

Subic Special Economic Zone (SSEZ), but also to CSEZ.

This bill also gives shopping privileges not only to the residents, but also to non-residents

alike. It can only be effective through an amendment of RA 7227, hence, this bill.

AN ACT AMENDING RA 7227 GRANTING TAX INCENTIVES TO CLARK SPECIAL

ECONOMIC ZONE (CSEZ)

SECTION 1. Short Title. An Act amending RA 7227 granting tax incentives to Clark

Special Economic Zone (CSEZ).

SECTION 2. Statement of Policy. This act shall give tax incentives to Clark Special

Economic Zone (CSEZ).

SECTION 3. This act shall not only give shopping privileges to residents but also to non-

residents alike.

SECTION 4. This act shall take effect fifteen (15) days from its publication in the

Official Gazette or at least three (3) newspapers of general circulation.
