office
ice environment.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The main objective of this course is to provide an overview of the basic functions of
personal computers and instructs students in how to use them. It is designed for persons who
have little or no experience with computers. Its purpose is to make students comfortable with
personal computers and to provid
provide the basic knowledge and skillss needed to perform the major
computer functions without assistance. These skills will be applied to the basics of applications
such as word processing, spreadsheets (tables of numbers), email and the internet.

a. Performing program in each turn of the lab
b. Attendance of the lab
c. File
2. Internal Model Quiz : 20
3. Model Exam : 20
NOTE: For the regularity, marks are awarded to the student out of 10 for each experiment
performed in the lab and at the end the average marks are giving out of 10.

EXTERNAL PRACTICAL EXAM

It is taken by the concerned lecturer of the batch and by an external examiner. In this exam
student needs to perform the experiment allotted at the time of the examination, a sheet will be
given to the student in which some details asked by the examiner needs to be written and at
the last, viva will be taken by the external examiner.
