HAD DONE IN 2016 BUT LEARNED IN 2019
The day when Miss Pascual tasked us to have a pass book, I have felt normal because I
already had it. But of course, as I saw my classmates growling, and being happy to the
performance task, I can't stop myself to smile because I know that they will experience
how does it feels to save money every other day. Since then, my auntie is the one who put
a money to my bank account in BDO. Honestly speaking, I was kinda excited to their
reaction if they will get their passbook. Well, way back 2016 I got my account, and my
auntie taught me to be a responsible student by saving my allowance. By that I really
tried to get out to the luxuries that mesmerized me to buy it. I neglected it. But it doesn't
mean that I'm not a hard headed one because I'm still attracted to get what I want like
buying foods that's actually trends in the society. It is just that I lessen the things that I
bought. At the moment, I can say that I really try my best to ignore all of the stuff that is
attracting me to buy. I learned to value the allowance that my auntie has given me. I
acknowledged their hard works because I know that it is not easy to earn money
nowadays. I've seen it to the television like the inflation rate and all. That's why when I'm
being attracted to the foods that I want to buy, I'm neglecting it and make difference or in
short letting money stayed to what is it placed. In addition, I have also realized that
saving money in the bank is a must. Therefore, all of the student should have that kind of
Performance Task because it allows them to be opened to the reality that is ruled by the
monetary values. It also informed us to be good in where to spend money. It tend us to be
knowledgeable on how money will grow. Since I already had my own account, right after
our small chit-chat with my classmates about their experience on getting it, I have
realized the importance of saving money at a young age. I have realized that I need to be
ready, because you cannot say if there will be an emergency or not. Besides, I'm a grown
up lady so I really need to be matured. I need to make rational decisions on my own,
minding it is possible outcomes. All in all, I've thought that being ready for the future is a
must. We, as a student should know how to handle money even if we're not the one who
works for it. Through this activity, by hearing the feedbacks of my fellow students there
are a lot of lessons that I have learned about money. You should know how to handle it
and where to put it because nowadays there are few people and organization who are
using a person who don't know the details about the money itself.
