Brief background about the tourism attraction
The Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center (NAPWC) is a 23.8-hectare
Protected Area under the management and administration of the Biodiversity
Management Bureau (BMB), a staff bureau of the Department of Environment and
Natural Resources (DENR), responsible in managing the country’s Protected Area
System and providing directions for the conservation of the nation’s biodiversity.

Recreational Opportunity Spectrum

Nowadays, people choose other destinations because of the recreational activities they
can offer. Wildlife is a tourist destination where in you can the beauty of the natural
resources. We think that we can promote the Wildlife through conducting other
recreational activities like tree planting. In this way, it will help the environment of the
destination as well as preserve the beauty and the cleanliness of it.

Visitor Impact Management

Most of the tourist were students maybe because of the projects, performances and
activity they need to do or they can learn about animals can be seen inside that is one
of the reason of the impact to the tourist. It can also be a place where a whole squad
can enjoy the freshness of the air, relaxing view and space for bonding. We observe
that there are some problems on the other part of the destination, examples is the cage
of the animals. Most of the time, maintenance of the cleanliness is a must. But right
now, the tourist arrival is not the same on the past years.

Visitor Activity Management Process

Video shoot, photography, relaxation, bicycling are the few things can be done in
Wildlife. There are so many recreational activities can be done in Wildlife. But if the
tourist is not cooperating and irresponsible when it comes to their trash, this will be a
huge impact in Wildlife.

Limits of Acceptable Change

Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center is known as nature in the heart of the city. A
limit of acceptable change is necessary. Why? In every decisions, there is an advantage
and disadvantage. In this destination, changes and improvements should always
prioritize the effect to the other part of the park.
Visitor Experience and Resource Protection
Since it is a park and a rehabilitation center at the same time, there should be a
protection in the natural resources. Benefits are evident once the tourist experiences the
recreational activities in the area.

T.O.M.M
The current position of the Ninoy Aquino Park and Wildlife Center is the lack of
manpower on maintaining the cleanliness of the area. It may cause a negative impact in
the area.

• Application of the rules and regulations and manpower. One of the thing needed
to maintain the beauty of the area is to have a responsible guest
• This destination was recognized because of the relaxing view and fresh air in the
heart of the city.
• The areas core strengths and opportunities is the accessibility of the tourist.

animals and sustain the number of it.

rescue center where endangered species like Philippine eagle is being taken
care of Social - Its more popular to students because it is a place where they can
stay for practice and can study animals thats in the rescue center and to
debutante or an engaged couple to use for their pre-nups

 Tourism’s contribution to mutual understanding and respect between
peoples and societies.
Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center offers an attraction where the
tourist can do activities like photo shoots (pre-debut or pre-nup shoot), bicycling,
school projects for us tourism students (promotional video), picnic and family
bonding. Wildlife provides protection for tourist and visitors because it has
security’s that monitors the places around. Foreign tourist respects the culture
and values of the attraction as well as the Filipinos toward them. Being a
respectful, responsible, have a deeper understanding and tolerance are attitudes
that a tourist and a company or an organization should have.

 Tourism as a vehicle for individual and collective fulfillment.

The activities they offer are mostly associated with rest and relaxation.
Relaxing view is really evident in the attraction. Once you visit, you will see the
green surroundings that will bring you a peace of mind and a good feeling
because of the fulfillment. Collective fulfillment is done when a group of people
are having a good time with each other and felt the rest in their mind and soul y
the help of this attraction. Based on what we observed, most of their tourists are
family, friends of even couples. There are also individuals who visit this place to
unwind and time to think for them. Travel purpose of education is common here
in this place. Why? It’s very useful for us students who needs to do our projects
like promotional videos and the other students to witness the animals in the
attraction.

 Tourism, a beneficial activity for host countries.

In Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife center, they make sure that the Local
populations are associated with tourism activities and share equitably in the park, social
and cultural benefits they generate like giving attractions through showcasing animals,
and particularly in the creation of direct and indirect jobs to help the surrounding
community. Tourism policies are applied to ofcourse protect the park and also the
animals within it.
 Obligations of stakeholders in tourism development.
In this part, the main objective is for the management of such tourist spot must
provide a honest and true information about the place, which is when we
connect this principle to Ninoy Aquino Park is clearly followed. They to provide
informations on how dangerous some animals can be, how endangered on some
species is, and they do provide guards upon entering the area to eliminate any
 harmful firearms, deadly weapons or anything which causes danger to other
tourist in the area because if something happens, its their obligations.
 Right to tourism.
It’s open for all the people who wants discovery and enjoyment that helps the
tourism growth of one’s region or country develops and is in a good situation. Tourism
for youth, family, student, people with disability and senior citizens are well-facilitated
in Wildlife.

 Tourism as a factor for sustainable development.

They aims to reserve protect and promote the natural heritage which is
composed of ecosystems and biodiversity of wildlife.

 Tourism, a user of the cultural heritage of mankind and contributor to

its enhancement
Policies are available in this tourism. Example is the proper waste disposal of the
tourist. They should respect and be responsible inside because it has a huge impact to
the tourism as well as to the other tourist they are with.

It benefits both the tourist attraction and the tourist. In a way that, tourist helps
the tourism of an attraction through visiting, and promoting its beauty and the
attraction provide a good service, relaxing view and good peace of mind to the tourist.

It is a must for a establishment or any operating place to provide security for
their workers, not just security but also to give them the right wage for their hardworks.
It must be supervise by the national and local administrators to prevent illegal labor.

This is necessary in every tourism of a country. Once they facilitate an attraction,
their responsibility to follow rules, have the standards that tourism should have, and
respect the culture of the place they are in. They should provide a clear intentions
about their tourism and a complete information about their organization. Global Code
of Ethics is a must in a tourism industry.
