DATE: October 7, 2019 SUBJECT: Writing
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE CLASS: They are all diverse
learners who have different specialties but they are very
eager to get into education. I can see the perseverance of
the teacher to teach her students the knowledge she had and
the students are very participative, sometimes their
attention span is not that good and the teacher handles it
well.

LESSON: LETTER S CLASS HOURS: 10:00-11:00PM

WARM UP: The students are intended to sing Tagalog songs

and English songs.
MOTIVATION: Teacher Nympha asked them the sound of Letter
S.
OBJECTIVES OF THE LESSON:
 For the children to be familiarized with the Letter S.,
 find the words or objects that starts with letter S.,
 To color the words that begins with letter S., and
 To give their own example of things that starts with
Letter S.
ACTIVITIES:
Tracing letter S on their activity sheet, and
Coloring the objects that starts with Letter S

FIXING OF SKILLS: First comes first is the teaching of big

letter S and small letter S

APPLICATION: Identifying pictures that start with letter S

inside the box.

TEACHING STYLE: Individualized approach

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Television, Laptop, 2D material

(printed materials) and power point presentation.
LEARNING DIFFICULTIES OBSERVED: The Intellectual
Disability, some of them cannot identify the objects that
starts with letter S.
OVERCOMING DIFFICULTIES: There are parents who helps the
teacher in facilitating the children. They are called
“Shadow Teacher”.

REMARKS: The teacher is good, fluent, and very caring in

taking care of her students. She has the essence of love
when it comes to taking care of children like them. She is
brave and determinate. I love the way she shows her
truthfulness and love to those children.
 EVERY CHILD IS SPECIAL
(Movie reaction)

Every teacher plays an important role in the

development of his or her students. This could be seen on
this great movie from India. It is Ishaan Awasthi, who
suffered from dyslexia and the teacher who changed his life
is very awesome. Ishaan had a difficulty in recognizing
letters and numbers wherein he couldn’t write properly due
to this. It is very heart aching when the parents of Ishaan
didn’t know the sufferings of their child. What they’re
reaction is always being mad and disappointed. Not just the
parents but also the teachers, they thought that Ishaan was
a retard, lazy and dumb without even knowing what the chikd
is going through. This kind of parents and teacher’s
reaction might affect the behavior of the child.
Mr. Ram Shankar Nikumbh was a substitute teacher who
offers lot of time to help and teach Ishaan with the things
that he finds difficult to do. The teacher really shows
every one of us the true quality that the teacher should
have. A teacher who doesn’t only teach but inspire as well.
A teacher that is not afraid to show his unique ways in
teaching his students. A teacher who always use positive
approach. A teacher who notice every changes in his pupil’s
behavior. A teacher who can turn a lazy boy into a very
smart and skill full boy in the end. Those descriptions
that inspires me a lot to pursue the teaching career is so
much overwhelming.
Among those, what I have got from the movie is that, a
good teacher must have a strong desire to make a good
difference to people, to mold a very good young student by
his knowledge and love. If I were to recommend a movie to
everyone this might be one of my choices. It really
inspires every aspiring teacher.
