Finals Week
Prep Kit
How to prep for finals…
1. Start by watching this video.
2. Make a plan with actionable, specific tasks. Build in group study sessions!
3. Follow your plan, and build in study breaks.
4. Minimize procrastination.
Feeling Stressed?

 Remember that your worth and identity are not based upon your grades!
 Invest in your Wellbeing.
 Sign up for the FLI Self-Care Retreat on December 6th!
 Are you a healthy striver, or a perfectionist? Brene Brown explains the difference.
 Study smarter, not harder.
In this finals prep kit, you’ll find:

 A prioritization table to plan how much time and effort you’ll dedicate to each class.
 Space to write down all your other responsibilities (like packing up to your dorm room, doing laundry,
work or volunteering shifts, etc.).
 Active learning strategies you can use to make your studying more efficient.
 Printable calendars that will help you plan your schedule for studying and other responsibilities
through the end of finals.
You can also find help study skill resources on our Academic Support website, along with the Learning Den
schedule and details about Study Consulting. Also, check out the Help Rooms!

Remember: you’re only competing against yourself… avoid the comparison game!
