1. Introduction
The software system is an online blood bank management system that helps in managing
various blood bank operations effectively. The project consists of a central repository
containing various blood deposits available along with associated details. These details
include blood type, storage area and date of storage. These details help in maintaining and
monitoring the blood deposits. The project is an online system that allows to check weather
required blood deposits of a particular group are available in the blood bank. Moreover, the
system also has added features such as patient name and contacts, blood booking and even
need for certain blood group is posted on the website to find available donors for a blood
emergency. This online system is developed on android studio platform and supported by
an SQL database to store blood and user specific details.

2. Problem Statement
With rapid increase in the use of social networks sites across the word, there is already a
steady increase in blood donation request, finding blood is a challenging in almost every
country. The current system is used by blood bank system is manual system there are
problems in managing donor details blood component stock details and blood request
details .so our blood bank application will provide a platform for both blood donors and
blood requesters so that in emergency users can easily find nearest one person to save
someone life.

3. Goals/Objectives

 Helps Blood Banks to automate blood donor and depository online.

 Encourages blood donors to donate.
 Helps people find blood donors in times of need.

4. Scope of Work

 Even a common person

5. Main Modules
5.1. User Panel
 Registration: User register himself/herself to the blood bank before making
any request.

 Log in/ Log out:The user can login, logout to access the home page where he/she
can make request for blood and can directly call the donor to ensure that the
blood is available.

 Searching: The user can search about blood group by selecting the specific city to
filter the available blood donors.

5.2. Admin Panel:The Admin login, logout to the blood bank app and maintain
the user requests and blood donors data.
