antes e depois de 8° do Sol. De 8° graus até 17° (antes ou depois do Sol) ele é
considerado sob os raios do sol: sua força é menor, mas maior do que quando
combusto. Se um planeta está entrando em combustão ele está em pior situação do
que se ele estiver saindo dela.

Os autores tradicionais afirmam que se um planeta está a 17' (dezessete

minutos) do Sol ele está no coração do Sol e o Sol lhe transmite sua virtude.
Guido Bonatti, autor do século XIII diz que para ser considerado no coração do
Sol (cazimi) o planeta tem que possuir não apenas a mesma longitude, mas também
a mesma latitude que o Sol. Mas Bonatti é voz única, A maioria aceita um planeta
"cazimi" quando sua longitude é igual à do Sol.

Em todo caso parece que Bonatti não acreditava muito nos beneficios do cazimi:
ele exigia mais condições para verificar o benefício.

O que é claro é que o planeta em combustão fica muito enfraquecido, seja ele
benéfico ou maléfico em bom ou mau estado essencial.
 Os autores Helenísticos deram enorme importância a um planeta que estivesse
saindo da combustão e se tornando visível: neste momento ele realizaria todo o
prometido.

Além disso, os Helenísticos não consideravam um planeta como estando combusto

se após sete dias do nascimento ele estivesse livre da combustão.

Tais conceitos Helenísticos devem ser levados em conta, pois Mercúrio e Vênus
que andam frequentemente perto do Sol têm enorme chance estatística de estarem
combustos ou sob os raios.
