Thesis Adviser’s Acceptance and Topic Approval Form

Students are expected to put their best work into their thesis. On the other hand, faculty advisers
are expected to guide students to produce their best work. Writing a thesis is time-consuming and
must be carried out by students and faculty members working together in a disciplined way over
a sustained period. It is clear that each party has responsibility to see that the necessary work is
completed on time. Thus, a clear schedule of meetings should be set up during the duration of the
thesis course.

As a student enrolled in the thesis program, I commit to pursue my thesis with perseverance. I
agree to work closely with my adviser and to perform the work that is required of me. I will
conduct myself in a responsible manner and will maintain a professional relationship. I will keep
my adviser updated, meet deadlines, and provide enough time for my adviser to review my work.
I also grant the Institute of Law of the Far Eastern University authority to publish my thesis in a
legal journal.

meetings and draft/performance reviews, and by remaining a source of encouragement and
