CHAPTER IV

RESULT AND DISCUSSION

The chapter shows the result of the conducted interview of the researcher. Using

the qualitative methodology, as purposed by Frondozo, 2019, this simple analyzation of

the responses of the selected respondents, who are patterned to their observation or

knowledge about social media will show the social media influence to the study habits of

the students as well as the benefits of social media in the studies of computer system

servicing (CSS).

Theme 1. Social media as proponent to the sudden changes to the attitude

of student. Based on the personal experience of the respondents frequent usage of

their social media account causes negative changes towards their attitudes. Its stated

by Randy Tenedero, (2019), a social media user and influencer, “the sudden changes in

my attitude after using social media are, I get lack of sleep, sometimes i forgot to eat or

often skip my meal, and i also get lazy hence, the statement of John Rodulf Baylon

(2019), also supported the negative effect of using social media as he uttered, “the

sudden changes in my attitude for using social media is I have no enough time for my

family, friends and loved ones”. However, the under lying or effect of social media to the

daily life habits of the students has also been agreed upon by the respondent, in

general term-whether negatively as positively.

Theme 2. Social media as a substantial tool for studying computer system

servicing. Computer system servicing requires a modernized way of communication for

project purposes or in simple manner of building information. As said by Randy

Tenedero, (2019) in a interview conducted by the researcher, “it is (the social media) is

the faster way to share information to our friends or classmate”. Where he stated that in

CSS subject is when the projects or school requirement to be submitted using different

social media networking sites”.
