Innovation: There is a field trip for student in this project. A field trip is an effective

activity of teaching. It gives students the opportunity to visit new places and new
environment, and to some extent, it is a kind of relax for them, and take a break from
the classroom lecture. In my field trip, I will take students to an outdoor supplies store,
in the store, students will see something they never seen, and it can broad their eyes,
and fin some more interesting stuff, then they can share with their peers, and parents.
Also, from the field trip, I will know more about my students. In this project, students
will use lots of technologies to finish their work, they will make a presentation by
using different presentation tools I introduced. At last, they will show what they have
about this project on their presentations. And the audiences will give them feedback.
Essential Question: In order to survive, what are the dangers and necessary preparations
for climbing Mount Everest? In other words, what do I need to know to survive the
climb?

Running head: PROJECT NARRATIVE.

After the proposal period, I will expand the project by doing more research, and
from the feedback of students’ work, I will check out what others questions I need to
improve. Also, I would like to invite a geography teacher to join my project, because
the project involved some geography knowledge. We can work together to help students
explore more about the project.
