Extinguishing media which shall not be used for safety reasons

High volume water jet
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters
Firemen must wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Additional advice
Do not allow contaminated extinguishing water to enter the soil, ground water or surface waters.

6. Accidental release measures

Personal precautions
Put on protective equipment (see Chapter 8). Ensure adequate ventilation/exhaust extraction. Keep
unauthorised persons away.
Environmental precautions
Do not let product enter drains.
Methods for cleaning up
Remove mechanically; take up the remainder with absorbent for chemicals or, if necessary with dry
sand and store in closed container
Additional advice
For further disposal measures see chapter 13.

7. Handling and storage

Handling
Advice on safe handling
Ensure adequate ventilation or exhaust ventilation in the working area. Avoid contact with skin and
eyes and the inhalation of vapour.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion
Provide adequate ventilation and if necessary, air extraction in working areas. Explosion protection
required.
Storage
German storage class 3B Combustible Liquids
Requirements for storage areas and containers
Store in tightly sealed containers in a dry and well-ventilated place. Optimum storage temperature
20 °C. Further specific information see our: Technical Data Sheet.

Chemical-resistant protective gloves according to DIN/EN 374 are recommended. Suitable
materials for safety gloves; DIN EN 374-3: butyl rubber - IIR: thickness >= 0,50 mm; breakthrough
time >= 480 min. Recommendation: contaminated gloves should be disposed of.
Eye protection
goggles/face protection
Skin and body protection
Wear suitable protective clothing.
Hygiene measures
Keep away from foodstuffs, drinks and tobacco. Wash hands before breaks and at end of work.
Keep working clothes separate. Change contaminated or soaked clothing.
