Ash Fusibility : The fusibility of a material is the ease at which the material can be fused together or to

the temperature or amount of heat required to melt a material

Ash Fusion : The ash fusion is a measure of when the ash will melt and transform from a solid to liquid
state. This temperature is an important parameter for the design and operation of gasification systems,

Banded Coal : The common variety of bituminous and subbituminous coal. It consists of a sequence of
irregularly alternating layers or lenses of homogeneous black material having a brilliant vitreous luster;
grayish-black, less brilliant, striated material usually of silky luster; and generally thinner bands or lenses
of soft, powdery, and fibrous particles of mineral charcoal. The difference in luster of the bands is
greater in bituminous than in subbituminous coal. Also called bright-banded coal or common banded
coal

Back Fill : For example a 'room and pillar' mining operation that uses backfill will be able to extract the
insitu pillars containing ore. Backfilling prevents and minimizes settlement and minimizes the impact on
the hydrology in the areas above and around the voids (tunnels, caverns, stopes, etc.) created by
mining. If left open mines would eventually collapse and, or fill with groundwater/runoff. Backfilling is
standard practice to mitigate the environmental impact due to mining, and it's quite expensive. So,
mining companies will try to avoid it whenever possible.

Agate is a kind of quartz and it is a mineral. Agate can come in many different kinds and colors. Agate
deposits are primarily found in large rocks such as boulders. agates take 50 million years to form. It is
characterized by colored band patterns inside various rocks. Often, agates are also accompanied by
Amethyst deposits inside as well as Quartz-like crystals occurring in larger deposits.[

Brine : Brine is water that has more than 5% salt in it. It is used for preserving food. For this it is much
like vinegar or sugar. Brine is also used to transport heat. Adding salt to water lowers the freezing point
of the water. The solubility of salt in water depends on temperature. At 15.5 ° Celsius, a saturated
solution of brine can hold 26.4 % salt by weight. At 0°, it can hold 23.3% salt.

Volcanic : A volcano is a rupture in the crust of a planetary-mass object, such as Earth, that allows hot
lava, volcanic ash, and gases to escape from a magma chamber below the surface. Earth's volcanoes
occur because its crust is broken into 17 major, rigid tectonic plates that float on a hotter, softer layer in
its mantle.[1] Therefore, on Earth, volcanoes are generally found where tectonic plates are diverging or
converging, and most are found underwater. For example, a mid-oceanic ridge, such as the Mid-Atlantic
Ridge, has volcanoes caused by divergent tectonic plates whereas the Pacific Ring of Fire has volcanoes
caused by convergent tectonic plates. Volcanoes can also form where there is stretching and thinning of
the crust's plates
