In the demanding performance equipment like Aircraft, Aviation and Space equipment and their
Ground Testing Rigs as well as industrial equipments using advanced hydraulic control and Lube
systems, the need for very clean fluid in the Hydraulic and Lubrication system is of extreme and
vital importance.

Oils having water, dissolved gases, in addition to the other solid contaminants, are very
dangerous combination, which cause very adverse effects on the equipment performance
through component corrosion, pitting, wear, sluggish movements etc. thus impairing the reliability
of the equipment.

Proper Hydraulic and Lube Oil cleanliness level discipline therefore needs ample stress. In
operating conditions, it is essential to maintain cleanliness level standard of such Aviation oils
conforming to National Aerospace Standard 1638 to NAS class 3-5 condition.

“OLEUM TEK” Purifier incorporating a state-of-the-art cleaning technology,

with a combination of the centrifuge, pre filtration, polish fine micron
filtration, along with high quality component elements of international
repute and quality, enables an effective removable of oil contaminants,
from the aviation oils, hydraulic oils making it clean, sparkling, like new oil
with out any change in its properties and helps to maintain the required
high oil cleanliness level.
The unique capabilities of this purifier is that it can handle oils with high amount of hard and soft
solid wear particles like Silica, Carbon, Metal, Rubber, Fibers, Micro Organisms etc. and oils
having water, dissolved gases which form a very dangerous combination causing very adverse

effects on the equipment performance through component corrosion, pitting, wear, sluggish
movements etc. thus impairing the reliability of the equipment.

Inside the Centrifuge, a twin jet rotor, powered only by oil pressure of the purifier module, rotates
at high speeds. Forces 2000 times greater than gravity are created to literally force dirt and con-
taminants out of hydraulic, lube or gear oils.

Hard and sharp abrasive metallic particles are removed down to a half micron size. Plus the rest
of the dirt, which causes parts to wear and oil to deteriorate are also removed.
Thus the moving and rotating components and bearings last longer. This also result in far fewer
lube oils drains and extension in life of full-flow filter, reducing the cost of filter element changes
and maintenance costs go down.

Thus the finest oil cleaning system in the world; with a centrifuge, super fine filters helps to keep
the oil clean.

The Purifier module also incorporates two stages of high capacity Micron Plus filters
for long element life and better system protection. The first stage filter captures
larger particles, while the second stage (outlet) filter controls finer particles or
removes water.

SYSTEM CONTROLS

The purifier is incorporated with a built in automatic cum manual electrical control system for
controlling of oil temperature, starting/stopping of oil pumps, visual indications and audio alarm
for system malfunction, filter element choke up etc.

SYSTEM OPERATION & MAINTENANCE

“OLEUM TEK” Purifier is a compact factory tested unit. It has a minimum number of moving parts
i.e. two oil pumps and a twin jet type centrifuge. The purifier can be easily hooked on the
equipment where oil is to be cleaned by just coupling the inlet/outlet hoses of it to main oil tank of
the equipment without need for any major piping or any modifications. The system due its built in
controls and design needs minimum supervision once it is started. The open frame design
permits easy monitoring and maintenance of the purifier.
