About myself
Born in Amalapuram, E.Godavari District, A.P, Sastry Karra grew up in

Hyderabad, A.P. His father (Late) Karra. Venkata Rao, uncles and grandfather were all

well versed in vedic astrology. It was his family tradition to provide predictions using

vedic astrology for “Free”.

At the age of 16, Sastry Karra showed interest in astrology, learnt the basic

calculations and then predictions from his grandfather.

Being an IT professional, Sastry Karra developed his own software that performs

the standard planetary calculations, different types of dasa calculations and validates

hundreds of yoga combinations mentioned in various classical texts.

Sastry Karra is currently residing in New Jersey, USA and spends his free time by

providing free predictions using facebook. Sastry Karra also wrote some articles

Let me explain how to analyze the chart based on Transit Planets using Rashi Lagna

Let me explain how to analyze the chart based on Transit Planets using Chandra Lagna

Between January 1st, 2015 and December 31st, 2015, Transit Saturn will be in Scorpio (Zodiac # 8).

o From Moon, it is the 7th house. Transit Saturn’s 3rd aspect will be on 9th house from Moon, 7th
aspect will be on 1st house from Moon and 10th aspect will be on 4th house from Moon.

Result: Even from Moon, the important houses that will have transit Saturn’s affliction are 1 st, 4th, 7th and 9th. Thus, the native
will have a CHALLENGING tasks pertaining to these houses. The Vimsottari dasa for this period is Saturn/Mars. Since Mars
is lord of 12th and 6th houses from Moon, the impact will be HIGHLY VISIBLE.

o From Moon, it is the 4th house. Transit Jupiter’s direct aspect will be on 10th house from Moon

Between Jan 5th, 2015 and February 11th, 2015, Transit Mars will be in Aquarius.

 For this Native, Natal Saturn is in Aquarius. Thus, “When Transit Saturn touches or aspects natal

Conclusions

In this example, I explained analyzing the native’s natal chart against the slow

moving planets for the year 2015 only using Rashi Lagna and Moon as Lagna . If the

natal chart has other crucial fast moving planets viz. Mars, Venus, Mercury, and then the

same logic can be used.

If the analysis is for identifying the “timing of marriage event”, then use 7th lord

residence as Lagna and Venus (for Male) or Jupiter (for Female) as Lagna.
