The Joys of Media
Being on staff with YWAM and working in
the media Department has been one of the most
fun and exciting jobs I could have ever imagined. I
am constantly getting to try new things with some
of my favorite hobbies; photography and video-
graphy. I really couldn’t ask for more.
I started playing around with some cheap
cameras when I was a freshman in high school. It
was something I grew passionate about almost
immediately. I remember waking up extra early
on Saturday mornings (which, you can imagine, is
not the usual for a high schooler!) just to take
pictures of the sun rising over the near by
hills in my neighborhood. From there, the
love for photography has grown and grown.
The second video I made was
about the skateboarding ministry we have
here at the base, Remnant. Every Tuesday
night they have a Bible Study on the book
of John right out in front of our base build-
ing, and every Thursday night they go to
local basketball courts to set up skate
ramps, hang out, and share the good news
of Jesus Christ. Kids that come into it seem

to really find what they’re looking
for.
Remnant, partnered with a
local surfing shop to put on an
awesome skate contest. About a
hundred or more kids showed up,
some we had never seen before.
We had prizes, music, and all day
skating. The kids loved it! With the
footage from that Saturday and a
Tuesday night Bible Study, I made a
recent promotional video for Rem-
nant that we’ll be able to
share with our home-churches
and friends and family back
home.
Side Note: I don’t have room
to tell you about my trip to
Guadalajara for the 50th cele-
bration of YWAM. But I will
just quickly say, it was AMAZ-
ING! God showed up and
moved in wonderful ways.
And I had the huge privilege
of being the event photogra-
pher which helped out the
base in Guadalajara a lot
because their assigned pho-
tographer cancelled last min-
ute. Thanks for all the
prayers and support for our
trip! They’re appreciated!!!

The End of 2010 and Finances

Thanksgiving is in
few days and I can hardly
believe it. Where has the
year gone?! Between my
school in January, going to
Africa, and coming on staff in
Mazatlan, the year really has
flown by.
First off, please
keep me in your prayers.
Having friends and family
that pray for me continually
is a value beyond any sort of
finance. We can depend on
Him and trust Him to provide
our every need.

By the 1st of Janu-
ary, I’ll only have about six
months left on staff here
in Mazatlan. I feel for
those last six months, God
is wanting me to move on
base. Which means, my
staff fees will go up a lot.
Instead of only needing
about 200 USD a month,
it’s going to jump to 500
USD a month. Not only will
I need more in staff fees,
but I am still believing and
trusting God to provide for
my film school that starts
next July which will be a
total of about 6,000 USD.
Last month I only
received around 100 dol-
lars in support. Which puts
me behind quite a bit. I
have yet to have any
money that can go to-
wards my film school, be-
cause I’m trying to cover
my staff fees.
I know this is a
hectic time of year with
Thanksgiving dinners,
Christmas, and shopping,
shopping, shopping. But I
am asking you again, to
please pray and consider,
to really seek God out, if it
is His will to support me
monthly or even give a one
time gift.
If you don’t feel
able to support me
monthly, you can give a one
time gift of however much
you feel led to. I’m sorry for
any inconvenience, but
without the love and sup-
port of the body of Christ, I
cannot do what God’s
called me to. We need each
other, for prayer, encour-
agement, and love. It’s our
joy and our privilege :)
 Therefore,
since we are surrounded by such a great
cloud
of witnesses,
Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin
which so easily entangles us, and let us run
with endurance, the race that is set before
us,
Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher
of our faith, who for the joy that was set
before Him endured the cross, despising the
shame, and has sat down at the right hand
of the throne of God.
