Re: Timetable Workshop


1. Introduction:
The above-named timetabling enterprise guarantees a clash-free computerized timetabling program with the features
below:

FEATURES FOR CLASH-FREE COMPUTERISED TIMETABLING PROGRAM


1.1 individual educator timetable;
1.2 individual class timetable;
1.3 individual room timetable;
1.4 composite educator timetable;
1.5 composite class timetable;
1.6 composite room timetable; and
1.7 timetable for free educators.
(All the above have times indicated)

2. Requirements:
2.1 A minimum of fifteen schools need to cluster themselves in one venue with a computer lab.
2.2 Each school must bring along a CPU that will need to be installed with the program.
2.3 The amount in 3.5 needs to be deposited in advance to ensure that the program is installed that is registered in the name of the
school as well as to ensure that two members per school, working in pairs, attend the workshop. Each school is to bring along
the allocation that satisfies the requirements of the norm time as stipulated on the policy document - with the following
included in it:
2.3.1 Subject allocation per class per educator, with each educator not having more than the total number of periods per
week. It must be clearly indicated whether the educator is a principal, deputy principal, head of department or
educator.
2.3.2 Surnames and initials of educators.
2.3.3 Classes for which educators are register class educators
2.4.4 Room number for each class (if educators move from one class to another when changing periods).
2.4.5 Room number for each educator (if learners move from one class to another when changing periods).
2.4.6 Length of periods and breaks.
2.4.7 Number of periods between breaks.
2.4.8 Number of cycles (e.g. 5-day cycle, 6-day cycle, 7-day cycle, 8-day cycle etc).
2.4.9 Total number of periods per cycle.
Note that examples of templates that illustrate norm time, with different cycles, will be provided at the workshop.
