Definition of terms:

Globalization
Globalization represents the global integration of international trade, investment, information
technology and cultures. Government policies designed to open economies domestically and
internationally to boost development in poorer countries and raise standards of living for their
people are what drive globalization. However, these policies have created an international free
market that has mainly benefited multinational corporations in the Western world to the
detriment of smaller businesses, cultures and common people.

Economics
Economics is a social science concerned with the production, distribution and consumption of
goods and services. It studies how individuals, businesses, governments and nations make
choices on allocating resources to satisfy their wants and needs, and tries to determine how these
groups should organize and coordinate efforts to achieve maximum output.

Economic analysis often progresses through deductive processes, much like mathematical logic,
where the implications of specific human activities are considered in a "means-ends" framework.

Economics can generally be broken down into macroeconomics, which concentrates on the
behavior of the aggregate economy, and microeconomics, which focuses on individual
consumers.

Sociology

Sociology is the study of human social relationships and institutions. Sociology’s subject matter
is diverse, ranging from crime to religion, from the family to the state, from the divisions of race
and social class to the shared beliefs of a common culture, and from social stability to radical
change in whole societies. Unifying the study of these diverse subjects of study is sociology’s
purpose of understanding how human action and consciousness both shape and are shaped by
surrounding cultural and social structures.
Technology

Technology is a body of knowledge devoted to creating tools, processing actions and the
extracting of materials. The term ‘Technology” is wide, and everyone has their way of
understanding its meaning. We use technology to accomplish various tasks in our daily lives, in
brief; we can describe technology as products and processes used to simplify our daily lives. We
use technology to extend our abilities, making people the most crucial part of any technological
system.

Technology is also an application of science used to solve problems. But it is vital to know that
technology and science are different subjects which work hand-in-hand to accomplish specific
tasks or solve problems.

Political

Political means relating to the way power is achieved and used in a country or society.

Politics is the art or science of government or governing, especially the governing of a political
entity, such as a nation, and the administration and control of its internal and external affairs.
