“Students will be provided with an infographic about three fictional hotels and after that they will be
separated into pairs. One student will assume the role of receptionist of a hotel they choose from the
infographic and other will assume the role of customer who tries to reserve a room from that hotel.

Summary
Students will learn to form questions about prices and dates and how to successfully answer them. They will
also learn words and expressions related to booking and travel.

Writing activity

Measurement & Assessment Activities for Students are expected to write dialogue between two
Group Performance characters with accurate expressions and grammar.

choosing another hotel this time.

Explanation
Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
Students will first be provided with vocabulary related with travel and reserving a room from a hotel, through
a mind map made via bubbl.us.
After then, a writing activity will be conducted in class about writing a dialogue on booking a room from any
of three hotels shown in an infographic that is provided for this activity which is made via Piktochart.
After students write their dialogue, students will read their written dialogues out loud.
Back up plan: In case of technical issues;
- Instructor may have print out versions of both mind map and infographic for each student in the
class
