2. Operation of H88
- With a switch (see page 15, paragraph 4.3.) on the steering column, hydraulic
brake can also be activated, when engine is working.

Operation of H88
2.4. Safely parking H88
The first boom section shall be set at construction sites, where headroom is limited,
such as garages and roof overhangs. For this purpose, set the stop valve to the left of
the driver's seat, to the top position.
The lifting cylinder (2) can be fixed in any position, so that only
the second boom section (3) and the tip of the boom (1), can be moved up and down.
Recommendation:
Remove the boom cover to
have a clear view upwards.

3. Transport H88
3.1. Transport
• Secure the machine with tension belts or chains to the trailer (pic 1+2)
• Lower the boom fully and secure the clamp with belts.

Transport H88
3.3. Fasten the transport hook and lift the machine with a crane
Using the transport hook, the machine can also be lifted with a crane.
The transport hook is fastened to the boom. (see the figure)
- 11 -
Transport H88
Attention:
• Lift the machine only empty.
• Use only appropriate, approved lifting aids.
Attention: Block the boom with chains before loading. (see pictures)

Designations and functions in the cabin
• The steering wheel (1) and the steering column (2) are adjustable. Release the handle
(3) at the right side. Adjust the steering wheel and steering column to any position.
Afterwards, tighten the handle again.
• The angle of the left pedal (6) (raise/lower the boom) and the right pedal (5)
(drive forwards/reverse) can be adjusted individually by turning the screw (4).

5. Paving
When paving, clamp functions must be performed using the switches "Turn the clamp"
(1 + 2), "Open the clamp" (4), "Lateral pressing and closing the clamp" (5 +6)
(see pictures).
3. With using the switch "side pressing and closing the clamp" (5), the block layer will
be lateral aligned and gripped.
6. Align the clamp at the paving edge and then lower the clamp.
7. The layer of paving stones is placed using the “open clamp ” switch (4).
- 16 -
5.3. Work cycle (with shifting the layer)
4. Press the button "side pressing" (6) the clamp opens slightly. Keep the button
"Site pressing" (6) pressed until the desired position of the stones is reached.
As soon as the button "side pressing" (6) is released, the clamp will grip the layer
automatically.
7. Align the clamp at the paving edge and lower the clamp.
8. The layer of paving stones is placed using the “open clamp ” switch (4).
With the ’’Optimas Automatic’’ function, all clamp functions are performed fully
automatically. Important: Only enable the automatic when the clamp is open.
1. Move the clamp over the package with the ’’Raise - Lower’’ foot pedal.
