Question No.1: The development of human resource is an inseparable process that


creates ability, enhances talent, increases knowledge, develops skills, changes attitudes
and influences development. As a leader, how can you make all these things happen?
Make an Action Plan for Teachers’ Professional Development to ensure a better career
path for them.
Educational change depends on what teachers do and think – it’s as simple and as
complex as that. Teaching is a complex profession that requires teachers to integrate
both the science and the art of their craft in order to impact learning. The science of
teaching necessitates understanding learning theory and how the brain functions. The
art of teaching requires teachers to synthesize content, process products and
environmental resources to create engaging learning experiences that promote
achievement among diverse learners. Moreover, teachers must perfect the art and
science of teaching in a world that is characterized by rapid change, increased cultural
diversity and significant progression and application of knowledge. Such a world requires
schools to improve what is taught, how it is taught, the degree to which students learn
what is taught, and the structures needed to support learning among staffs students.
Suggested Action Plan for Teacher’s Professional Development
1. Gives teachers greater autonomy in reflecting on their practice to determine what
they learn and how they learn for the purpose of improving student achievement.
2. Engages teachers in collaborating with administrators to identify professional
growth goals, consider performance on standards and provide documentation
about performance.
3. Includes a process to seek and provide supportive time, people, learning
opportunities, and material resources that address individual professional growth
needs.
4. Relates professional growth to performance evaluation so that teachers can
examine change in performance to inform professional growth.
5. Engages teachers in identifying a plan of action for improving teaching and
learning in their classrooms.
6. Encourages use of job-embedded forms of professional development to engage
teachers in attempting new strategies and sharing results with others.
7. Involve teachers in identifying professional growth goals that are based on
immediate needs as indicated by student performance, self-reflection,
performance evaluation and other sources of input.
8. Engages teachers in self-reflection to determine their individual professional
growth. as dead”.

Question No.2: What is financial management and its significance in the organization?
Share your struggles along this aspect just so you could provide an improved
educational services to the school clientele.

Financial management is a critical topic in one organization. This is the reason that an
organization can not function without proper use of funds. It might even suffer stunted
growth. To understand and apply the right management practices in the handling and
use of funds, one has to know how valuable financial management. These are the
struggles in managing financial aspect:

1. No immediate available funds.


2. No other source of funds.
3. No optimum funds utilization.
4. No assurance of regular and adequate supply of funds.
5. No adequate funds to support the project or program.

To address the problems on school finances there must be a strong linkage/s between
the stakeholders and LGU to support the programs and project of the school. Financial
management serves as the framework to sustain the projects planned by the school and
the parents.

Question No.3: The major challenge that managers face along with material
management is maintaining a consistent flow of materials for utilization towards the
smooth flow of the organization. How can you ensure the availability of materials given
the fact that there is limited budget in your school? What interventions have you done to
overcome the challenge which made you provide the needs of the school clientele?

To ensure the availability of materials and address the needs of the school clientele,
make a project proposal to the community and LGU or look for philanthropists, sponsors
and foundations who are supporting and promoting advocacies the education of the
children. This is a very challenging part on the part of the leaders in the school on how to
meet the needs of the clientele aside from the help coming from the government through
MOOE. The power of communication, inspiration, and encouragement are the weapons
to succeed. These principle and help of the teaching force can realize the dreams of the
school.

We can do everything with courage and faith that our vision will come true if coupled with
faith, sacrifices, dedication and passion. All these things will be realized and reach the
apex of success if we work together and give our unselfish and collaborative efforts.
