Activity Title: Young Accountants and Entrepreneurs’ Guild (YAEG) Team Building and On-going Formation
2019
Theme: “Louisean Future Accountants and Entrepreneurs: Awakening the Spirit of Solidarity for Integral
Transformation”
Target Participants: YAEG members
Attire: SLMCS PE uniform and School T-shirt
Expected Date of Activity: November 16, 2019 (8:00-5:00pm)
Value in Focus: Solidarity, Social Commitment and Commitment to Vincentian Excellence
Venue: SLMCS Tugos Campus 4th floor

I. RATIONALE

The Young Accountants and Entrepreneurs’ Guild (YAEG) under the Student Activity Program
of the Student Affairs aims to develop students’ Accounting abilities and entrepreneurial skills. This
club gives training for students especially those in the Accountancy, Business and Management
(ABM) strand and even those who have interests in accounting and entrepreneurship, to practice
and enhance their skills in accounting and business through workshops, seminars, and activities to
be conducted in the school.

In connection with this, the Young Accountants and Entrepreneurs’ Guild (YAEG) will conduct
its first TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITY and ON-GOING FORMATION for the School Year 2019-2020.
This activity focuses on the following objectives:

1. To establish connectedness and solidarity to deepen the relationship among YAEG


members.
2. To help the YAEG members develop their knowledge, skills and interest in the field of
Accounting and Entrepreneurship through talks on Financial Literacy among the youth,
passing the TESDA Bookkeeping NC III, and a Journey to becoming an Accountant.
3. To instill among the YAEG members the spirit of Louisean Values: Social commitment and
Commitment to Vincentian excellence.

II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Young Accountants and Entrepreneurs’ Guild (YAEG) Team Building and On-going
Formation 2019 is the first activity of the Young Accountants and Entrepreneurs’ Guild (YAEG) under
the Student Activity Program of the Student Affairs. This whole day activity shall cover talks on
Financial Literacy among youth, passing the TESDA Bookkeeping NC III, and A Journey to becoming
an Accountant for morning sessions and Team building Activities which will happen in the afternoon.
