These were few questions ringing in everyone's mind and TV channels made a huge mess of CWG2010
before Oct 2010. But India proved its glory at opening ceremony of CWG2010. It was a grand event and
made its critics to praise on the event.

Abhinav Bindra and Gagan Narang opened India's medal tally with a gold medal. Medals poured into
India basked from that moment. There were disappointments and records set by India. In table tennis,
last CWG gold medalist Sharath Kamal had to satisfy with bronze. But he had his revenge in doubles
men as India bagged gold. Kamal and Saha showed their emotions differently, the former showed by
tears and latter hugged everyone.

We had a superb day in shooting too, bagging totally 30 medals comprising 14 gold. Abhinav, Narang,
Omkar along with female shooters had their final say. Wrestling which was part of CWG2006 was held
this time . Indian wrestlers performed better in wrestling, many were at podiums. Boxing was another
game where Indians showed their magic, though Vijendar disappointed in 75kg, apart from that
disappointment others wrestlers snatch gold. .............BUT........ one Indian boxer had to clinch gold
without fight as he was awarded a walk out(i.e.) his opponent didn't turn out for the match

In badminton arena, men couldn't perform up to their mark, but womens showed a class performance.
Jwala Gupta and Ashwini ponapa bagged gold at doubles, a record created. Ashwini hit smashes at
more than 200 miles/hr, Jwala was guarding nets and Ashwini was dealing with smashes- a perfect duo
to clinch gold. In singles, Sania Nehwal, a new sensation in India clinched gold. She has to sweat a lot.
She was match point down and came hard strong at her opponent. She attacked in third set and
clinched the gold. She hugged Gopi Chand and cried at her winning moments.

Tennis, a big disappointment . India expected gold from Paes- Bhupathi, Sania, Devvarman. Only
Somdev Devvarman fulfilled the task. Paes-Bhupathi , the most promising doubles players had to exit in
semis. Sania coming from a long break had to satisfy herself with a bronze. India had to prove its feet
in aquatics , cycling and lawn ball as they couldn't clinch any medal . Only lone bronze medal was
bagged in aquatics.

ATHLETICS........a Greek and Latin for INDIA.....But this time it was a heartening moment. We set
record in Discuss throw (W) as all the three medals were won by Indians. Krishna Poonia, gold medalist
has been challenged by Australian champion to play a match in Jan 2k11. Krishna has to prove that she
didn't win the CWG2010 gold out of luck. 4*400m women’s relay team won gold. They defeated stiff
contenders from Nigeria, England, Australia. Manjeet Kaur, the last woman to complete the 400m
clinched gold for India with a huge lead. She lost in individual 400m due to lack of stratergy but she did
it in relay team. In long jump and Javelin throw we bagged silver and bronze respectively. In
gymnastics too, Indians proved their worth by bagging silver. Archery team showed their class by
performing well at higher level, especially Deepika Kumari achieving laurels beyond her age.

Many Indians made their presence felt in podiums. It was a rich feeling. As rightly said in Hero Honda
AD---THEY PLAY AND WE REJOICE. When Indian National song is sung, it becomes a proud moment.
Finally , INDIA FINISHED AT NO 2--thanks to last gold medal from Saina Nehwal. The crowd encouraged
Indians in all the games though their presences were less at initial stages it multiplied as days passed.

Every Indian athlete was happy that they were finally recognized. Finally games apart from cricket has
been given its importance which it demanded. Omkar Singh went on saying," Finally i will recognized as
OMKAR SINGH-a shooter from India". The most heartening news came from Glasgow Mayer," I don think
we can conduct games as successful as DELHI."India proved that they are capable of HOLDING
MULTINATIONAL EVENTS.

The curtain is down after 11 days of extravaganza. Corruption case has been opened. 70000 crores
spent on CWG2010. Does CWG2010 require 70,000 crores? Bridges were built for foreigners alone,
though they didn’t use it....!!!!!!!!!
In Orissa, a river has to be crossed just by a rope. A part of 70,000c could have been spent there. India
has a debt of soooooooomany crores. - a huge money. In this time, is it wise to spend so many amounts
on 11 day event? When r v going to repay the debt?
A scene from Tamilan film depicted the below scene. The hero sends rs4000, debt on each Indian to
President. This will create a revolution................India needs a miracle like this. Though people
critics new ideas, we should remember that people insult, criticize new ideas, but once the idea is
implemented the SAME PEOPLE COME BEHIND US. -that’s human psychology. How is the govt to repay
the debt? Where is the bill for rs70, 000c? Whats the plight of newly constructed stadiums???These are
q the govt yet to reply.

Almost a month over the climax of CWG2010, Indian govt observing stun silence regarding the
corruption issue. No official report is been submitted. Common men are getting used to such kind of
news. So many corruptions cases-Sathyam.........HAVE V BECOME PUPPETS DANCING TO THE TUNE OF
POLITICIANS.
There is a saying in Mahabharata that whenever evil goes beyond a critical limit God takes a new
avatar and destroys evil. Hope the day is not too far to clean our govt and have a debtless
country........
WHY CANT THE AVATAR BE ONE AMONG US??????????????????????????????
