Official Opening of College


On Thursday 12th of August , the Tamworth Community College was officially
opened by Senator Doug Cameron.
Senator Doug Cameron formally opened the New
College facilities by unveiling a plaque during the
opening festivities. President of the College John
White cut the cake and guest speakers, Tony
Windsor MP and Elder Neville Sampson welcomed 130
guests to the opening. A big thank you to all that
attended, and to the wonderful staff at the College
for all their help leading up to and on the day.

The staff are thrilled with the new building and have
settled in nicely. It was such a big job and it is now
business as usual with Term 4 about to get underway.

It has been really nice having members of the public


commenting on the building. If you haven’t been to
see the College yet, please feel free to come in and
get a guided tour from one of the Administration
