Camp Chili

1.5 lbs. Ground beef


1 Small Onion, chopped
1 Small Green Pepper, chopped
1 Clove of Garlic, chopped
10 ¾ oz. Can of Tomato Soup
15 oz. Can of Tomato Sauce
15 oz. Can of Kidney Beans
Water
1 Beef Bouillon Cube
1.5 Tbsp. Chili Powder
1.5 tsp. Pepper

Brown ground beef. Add onion, garlic, and green pepper. Add Bouillon cube and break up and stir in.
Cook for a few minutes.
Add Tomato Sauce. Rinse can and add that water in. Add Tomato Soup. Rinse can and add that water
in. Cook for a few minutes. Add Kidney Beans. Add Pepper. Add Chili Powder. Stir well.
Put lid on and simmer until it is as thick as desired.

Camp Bread

2 cups Flour
¾ cup Powdered Milk
½ cup Sugar
2 packets Dry Yeast
2 tsp Salt
¼ cup Water for activating yeast

Activate yeast by adding it to ¼ cup of 120 degree water. Add 1 Tbsp sugar.
Grease dutch oven with vegetable oil. Preheat the dutch oven.
In a pan, add flour, powdered milk, salt, and sugar. Mix well.
Add a little warm water and then add activated yeast. Mix into smooth firm dough adding warm
water as necessary. Put in warm dutch over to rise for 45 minutes to an hour.
Cover dutch oven and hang over fire (not directly on coals). Scoop some hot coals on top.
Cook for 30-45 minutes until golden brown on top.
Remove from dutch oven and let cool.
