RESOLUTION NO. 2018-07

ALLOWING THE ALLOCATED FUNDS FOR CAPACITY BUILDING OF THE

SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN FOR THE SEVENTH PHILIPPINES I TRANSFORM! YOUNG
LEADERS CONVENTION (PITLYC).

WHEREAS, the Republic Act. No. 8344 otherwise known as the Youth in Nation-Building Act
supports the principle of promoting and protecting the physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual, and social
well-being of the youth to the end that the youth realize their potential for improving the quality of life.
WHEREAS, the Youth Philippines (YLP) with the support of the DILG will hold the Seventh
Philippines I Transform Young Leaders Convention (PITLYC) on 20-24 September 2018 at the Teacher’s
Camp, Baguio City with the theme, “Enabling Innovations in Education and Governance, Transforming
Communities”.
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan as part of the event the Sangguniang Kabataan Officials
of Tingub are hereby encouraged to participate of the abovementioned activity.
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan will sent the Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson and
two Sangguniang Kabataan Member for the said activity.
WHEREAS, the allocated funds for the capacity building of the Sangguniang Kabataan for the
Seventh Philippines I Transform! Young Leaders Convention (PITLYC) will be used to support the
participant of the abovementioned event.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE

SANGGUNIAG BARANGAY to approve the allocated funds for the Capacity building of the
Sangguniang Kabataan for the Seventh Philippines I Transform! Young Leaders Convention (PITLYC) on
20-24 September 2018 at the Teacher’s Camp, Baguio City with the theme, “Enabling Innovations in
Education and Governance, Transforming Communities”.
