Job Summary

Coordination and facilitation of communities’ and CSO partners’ involvement in the


identification, development, implementation and monitoring of the SCRHA Project at Area
Office as well as supervising facilitations by CSO Generalist in communities in the area of
responsibility and ensure the community’s compliance with SCRHA Project requirements.

Summary of Key Functions/Results Expected

 Under the direction of the immediate supervisor plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and
supervise the implementation , and periodic evaluation of SCRHA Project carried out under
FGAE Area office level and CSOs level;
 Facilitate the identification of community needs and development of appropriate project
planning in accordance with SCRHA Vision, Mission and the Annual Strategic Plan:
 Facilitate trainings for the CSO, community and community volunteers as per the SCRHA
project requirements;
 Increase and maintain the awareness of CSOs and the community on SCRHA Vision &
Mission and project programs ;
 Coordinate assistances to the community in problem identification, prioritization and
together with them & CSOs develop integrated action plan in compliance with SCRHA project
principles and guidelines;
 Coordinate and assist CSOs Generalist in project planning as per SCRHA project planning
guideline;
 Facilitate trainings/acquaintance of CSOs and community volunteers on SCRHA operational
system and procedures;
 Coordinate efforts of capacity building to the CSOs on project management;
 Coordinate trainings of the CSO on problem identification in a participatory manner;
 Identify training needs of the CSOs & coordinate with the CSOs Generalist on program
implementation, Monitoring & Evaluation;
 Coordinate implementations of the approved projects according to the plan and available
budget;
 Facilitate undertakings of CSOs capacity progress assessment as and where necessary;
 Act as linkage or network among the CSOs; community, relevant government and Non-
government bodies SCRHA and FGAE for possible project implementation and evaluation;
 Conduct monitoring and evaluation and submits reports to immediate supervisor and
Project Manager;
 Prepare periodic reports monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and Annual progress reports for
Area Office/CSOs & submit to Area Office and FGAE HQ Project Manager as per SCHRA
procedures & deadline;
 Correlates program performance and financial utilization of CSOs SCRHA project by
working closely with FAS and PC and Area Office level CSOs;
 Provide technical support, mentorship and regular coaching to CSO in the areas of social,
psychological and spiritual services;
 Supervise that care and support beneficiaries are appropriately selected and are getting
services properly;
 Supervise the level/status partnership with other stakeholders in the planning and delivery
of care and support services within Area Office level CSO;
 Participate in meetings and workshops pertinent to care and support services organized by
CSOs when necessary;
 Consult the Program Coordinator/ Area Manager and Project Manager on matters relevant
to research and planning;
 Perform additional tasks as and when required by the supervisor.

 Interest in and commitment to SCRHA activities, enthusiasm to represent SCRHA to

 Able to work with minimal supervision.
 Good knowledge of computer application;
Qualification: BSC Degree in Public Health or Nursing

Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Place of work: Dessie

Salary: As per FGAE’s salary scale

Terms of Employment: One year contract, renewable based on satisfactory performance and
availability of funds;
