The Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA) will conduct a two-day live-in


Career Development Program for Court Legal Researchers to be held on September
18 to 19, 2019 (Wednesday to Thursday) at PHILJA Training Center, Tagaytay City.

There will be a shuttle bus that will transport the participants to and from the
venue. Shuttle bus schedule is as follows:

Drop-off point: Supreme Court of the Philippines

The participant may opt to go home right after the sessions on September
19, 2019 (Thursday) but no shuttle bus will be provided.

The organizers have reserved rooms on triple-sharing arrangements.


Participants are requested to observe room assignments strictly. The organizers
cannot guarantee room preference. Accompanying persons not invited to attend
the seminar will have to shoulder the costs of their own accommodation. Should
you wish to avail, please write a letter addressed to the Chancellor through Mr.
Romulo M. Abancio, Jr., Acting PTC Manager, for approval. You may send your
request via email address: aao.philjaC'gmail.com. Please coordinate to the focal
person concerning your request.

Meals (i.e., breakfast, am snack, lunch, pm snack, and dinner) during the
training and dinner on September 17, 2019 (Tuesday) will be provided. Incidental
expenses (e.g. telephone calls, laundry, and the like) will be charged to the personal
account of the participant.

The attendance of participants in this activity shall be on OFFICIAL
BUSINESS. A copy of the administrative circular authorizing the attendance is
attached to this notice. Travel expenses are reimbursable on a later date, subject to
the submission of required documents. Absence in any lecture or interrupted
attendance will disqualify a participant from receiving the Certificate of Participation
and will be entered as a demerit in the participant's official record. Business attire is
required and no maon$ pants will be allowed.
