Minimum Site Requirements – Lifts up to 4500kg

Site Access

 Our engineers will require clear access to the site for their vehicles and trailers.
Adequate room must be available for the safe unloading of equipment from vehicles.

 Our engineers require the use of a 240v mains power supply close to the installation
area for the connection of their power tools and equipment.

 Access to the site must be available between the hours of 7:30am and 8:00pm.
Occasionally access may be required outside of these hours (however this will be
agreed prior to the installation date).

Safe Working Area

 The area where the equipment is going to be installed must be completely clear of
anything that may interfere with the installation process.

 The site must have adequate lighting.

 At least one person must be on site at the time of the engineers arrival to answer any
questions that may arise. It may also be helpful if there was somebody available at
all times whilst our engineers are on site.

Concrete Floor

 The depth of concrete at the installation point must be at least 170mm.

 The floor must be constructed from at least C35 grade concrete. The floor must be
structurally sound and level (within 12mm over the installation area).

 For lifts installed into a recess, the recess dimensions must be within +/- 5mm of the
drawings which we supply when your order has been confirmed.

Electrical Supply

 A 3 phase and neutral power supply must be provided within 3 meters of the
installation point, terminating at a wall mounted Isolator.

 The Isolator must be connected to the main power board with a minimum of 2.5mm,
4-core SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) cable.

 The power supply must be protected with a 16amp circuit breaker per single lift.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, work will not commence until the above criteria is met
and Used Garage Equipment Online engineers will be charged out at an hourly rate of £45
per hour, per engineer, either waiting or travelling to and from the site until the above site
requirements are complied with.
