the cerebral cortex. In the human brain,
the cerebrum is the uppermost region of
the central nervous system.
Cerebellum Cerebelo It is the part that receives information
from the sensory systems, the spinal
cord, and other parts of the brain and
then regulates motor movements. The
cerebellum coordinates voluntary
movements such as posture, balance,
coordination, and speech, resulting in
smooth and balanced muscular activity.

Brain Cerebro The brain is an amazing three-pound


organ that controls all functions of the
body, interprets information from the
outside world, and embodies the
essence of the mind and soul.
Intelligence, creativity, emotion, and
memory are a few of the many things
governed by the brain.
Nervous system Sistema nervioso The nervous system is a complex
network of nerves and cells that carry
messages to and from the brain and
spinal cord to various parts of the body.
The nervous system includes both the
Central nervous system and Peripheral
nervous system.
