PEXIDAN®
Superior Performance Moisture Cure XLPE
Our Sioplas-type moisture cross-linkable polyolefins are available for a wide variety of end-use applications including wire insulation and jacketing, potable water &
radiant heat pipe, injection molded fittings, heat shrinkable tubing and other molding and profile applications requiring elevated-temperature dimensional stability.
Leading the market for three decades, our PEXIDAN® compounds feature outstanding long-term performance with superior strength, toughness, and resistance
to heat/cold, chemicals, abrasion and creep. PEXIDAN® compounds offer the best of crosslinked olefins with the ease of processing found in thermoplastics
and are available in non-FR, halogenated FR and LSZH versions. PEXIDAN® compounds are well-suited for most processing techniques and post-curable by
steam, hot water or even ambient means.

THERMODAN® CP are CPE based jacketing compounds that provide an excellent balance of properties making them suitable for use in a wide range
of demanding applications. Performance characteristics include excellent chemical, oil, fuel, solvents and acid resistance, flexibility, low temperature
impact/bending and excellent flame retardancy. CPE is an excellent replacement for CSPE (Hypalon®) at lower cost. It can be processed on
conventional thermoplastic extrusion lines and are fully supported by our application development team. SACO AEI Polymers offers Thermodan CP
compounds in Thermoplastic, CV Cross-linkable and eBeam Cross-linkable versions.
The Superior Solution for the Ultimate in Security | Human Safety & in Hazardous Environment Industrial Facilities
SACO AEI Polymers and our affiliates specialize in the development and manufacture of elastomeric or polyolefin based compounds exclusively for wire
and cable industry applications such as automotive, industrial power, energy distribution, mining and appliances. Several new compounds have been
designed to obtain maximum flexibility together with oil resistance that are not achievable with standard thermoplastic compounds. With our technical
assistance our customers have reached extrusion speeds comparable to the standard thermoplastic production rate of 3,000 feet/minute.
