Servant’s
Covenant

The
 purpose
 of
 these
 values
 is
 to
 ensure
 each
 of
 our
 servants
 is
 on
 the
 same
 page
 with
 us
 on
 how
 we

dream
of
ministry
being
accomplished.
It
is
to
communicate
what
we
feel
deeply
about
when
it
comes
to

our
service
and
ministry
for
Jesus
Christ.
These
are
the
things
that
we
can
live
and
die
by
when
it
comes

to
ministry.
The
assumption
for
our
Coordinator
Level
and
above
is
that
you
already
posses
the
character

needed
to
serve
at
this
level
and
have
a
vital
growing
relationship
with
Jesus
Christ,
support
the
ministry

of
Destiny
Church
through
your
time,
talent,
and
treasure,
and
are
passionate
about
your
area
of
service.

Operating
Values

1. Integrity
and
Character:
I
will
be
on
time
to
all
meetings
and
I
will
be
faithful
to
do
what
I
say
I
am

going
to
do
and
be
responsive
to
reasonable
requests.

2. Biblical
Authority:
I
will
support
the
leader(s)
of
the
church
and
ministry
area
as
long
as
they
are

following
Christ
and
the
vision/direction
of
the
ministry.

3. Excellence:
I
will
do
things
in
such
a
way
that
it
demonstrates
my
best
and
exceeds
expectations.
I

will
become
the
best
in
my
ministry
area
by
learning
from
other
leaders,
churches,
organizations,

periodicals,
books,
while
striving
to
improve
the
ministry
I
lead.

4. Point
the
Lost
to
Christ:
I
will
intentionally
invest
in
people
that
are
far
from
Christ
and
invite

them
on
a
monthly
basis
to
a
Destiny
Church
event.

5. Verbal:
I
will
verbalize
and
not
merely
internalize
my
thoughts,
feelings,
and
ideas.
I
will
wisely

and
compassionately
speak
up
and
speak
out
in
a
timely
fashion.

6. Spiritual
Growth
and
Development:
I
will
be
All
“PRO”
Christian
by
regularly
and
consistently

praying,
reading
the
Bible,
and
obeying
God’s
truth.
Further,
I
will
attend
worship
services
and

seek
out
a
spiritual
mentor/coach
to
help
me
maximize
my
life
in
Christ.

7. Gift‐Oriented
Ministry:
I
will
lead
in
areas
where
I
am
gifted
and
encourage
others
to
do
the
same.

8. Perseverance:
I
will
press
through
the
times
when
I
want
to
give
up
because
of
non‐life

threatening
or
biblically
compromising
obstacles.

9. Team
Player:
I
will
maintain
and
protect
the
unity
of
our
team
at
all
costs
by
refraining
from

negativity,
gossip,
and
tearing
down
my
fellow
team
members
and
leaders.

10. Hospitable:
I
will
consistently
be
a
servant
rather
than
a
star
and
always
consider
myself
on
duty

when
a
guest
or
member
of
Destiny
Church
is
in
need.

11. Contribution:
I
will
support
the
ministries
of
Destiny
Church
by
being
an
example
of
committed

service,
attendance,
and
financial
support
with
a
minimum
of
10%
of
my
income
and
an
annual

thanksgiving
offering
of
one
week’s
income.

My signature below signifies that I understand that being a ministry leader carries a great responsibility because
it impacts others beyond myself. (See 1 Tim. 3:8-15). I also understand that my service is voluntary but is to be
subject to the standard that is set by the Church rather than a fluctuating set of subjective expectations.
