• Portal is dynamic where the content is based on
transactions made by members
• Portal provides the Supply Chain Management system
that includes the e-BuySell, e-Stock, e-Logistic, e-
Plan, e-Make, e-Support, and e-Payment modules
• Links to other information portals
• Service is free of charge

The benefits of the project can be seen through the impact
to society, industry, and technology which include:

• delivering useful services to rural communities by the use

of ICT in their daily activities

• creating a hub for the agriculture communities to meet,

interact, and do trading via on-line globally

•increasing income to the farmers and rural communities by

dealing direct with the traders and suppliers online

•Ease to do customization and localization for community
use
•Good avenue for capacity building in software
development
•Eye opener for future involvement in FOSS in creating
reusable components
•Quick jumpstart for development work
•Need to be retrain due to less familiarity of FOSS
