When the lord of 9th, 10th, and 11th houses are debilitated.
Birthday coincides with Bhadra tithi (2,7,or 12) and Vyatipat yoga.
Birthday falls on equinoctial point.(When day and night are of equal duration an
d when the declination of sun becomes exactly zero).
When the moon happens to be in exact debilitation ( Scorpio 3rd degrees ).
Planets in birth chart are exalted but debilitated in Navamsa chart.
When the sun is in extreme debilitation (Libra 10 degrees).
Venus happens to be in debilitation in birth chart and occupies Leo or Libra ams
a.
Birth coincides with earthquakes or eclipses.
Planets are weak by occupying inimical or debilitation signs or combust.
10th house should not be aspected or associated with a debilitated planet.
If four planets in birth chart are in inimical signs or are debilitated in amsa.
Ascendant and Moon should not be subjected to malefic association or aspects but
to benefic ones to achieve better results of
rajyogas.
If waning moon is unaspected by benefics and in amsa chart the sun occupies Leo
duly conjoined with a malefic.
If Jupiter or Venus are in their extreme depression, that is, Capricorn 5 degree
s and Virgo 27 degrees respectively.
If all malefic planets stand in Kendras duly debilitated and benefics occupy 6th
,8th, 12th houses of birth chart.
If benefics are eclipsed and do not occupy Kendras. Rahu stationed in the Ascend
ant aspected by the Moon, whereas malefic planets
occupy 3rd, 6th and 11th houses.
If debilitated Jupiter occupies 6th , 8th or 12th houses and Moon is placed in t
he 4th house, native remains under the orders of
others.
DARIDRA and KEMDRUM
YOGA will get cancelled if the following conditions prevail :
1. Moon or Venus placed in Kendras are duly aspected.
NEECH BHANG RAJ-YOGA
It has the capacity to raise the native from the lowest rank of the ladder to th
e highest.
A neecha aspecting a neecha planet produces Raj-yoga.
When a planet, which is neecha, is placed in any of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 9th, 10th
and 11th houses, then Raj-yoga is caused.
If the benefics are placed in 3rd, 10th or 11th houses.
If the neech planet is exalted in Amsa.
When Lagna is Gemini and Saturn and Jupiter are placed in the 11th and 12th hous
es respectively.
SHAKAT-YOGA
If Jupiter is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th house from Moon, then shakat yoga is fo
rmed.
If moon is in Kendra from Lagna then this yoga is not considered.
Result : Such persons have a miserable life. They have such a pinch in the heart
that they never recover. Such persons live a very
average life. Sometimes they have a strong planet to help but that never lasts l
ong.
DARIDRA-YOGA
Is present when :
Exchange between lord of lagnesh and byaesh with conjunction of 8th lord.
Ascendant lord occupying 6th, 8th, 12th house conjoined with a malefic and aspec
ted by a maraca - it makes one suffer from life-long
diseases.
DAINYA- YOGA
Exchange of lords of malefic houses with lords of auspicious houses. Result : Th
e native will be a fool, abusive and will have the
habit of insulting others. He commits sins. Enemies will always trouble him.
APKEERTI - YOGA
The 10th house must be occupied by the Sun and Saturn who should join malefic am
sa or be aspected by a malefic planet.
Result : The person will have a bad reputation.
VRANA YOGA (CANCER)
The 6th house lord, being a malefic, occupies the lagna, 8th or 10th houses.
Result : the person may suffer from the dreadful disease of cancer.
SHISHNA BYADHI - YOGA (AIDS)
Mercury joins lagna in association with the lords of the 6th and 8th houses.
Result : The native can suffer from an incurable sexual disease.
KALATRASHANDA YOGA ( Frigidity )
The lord of the 7th house joins that of the 6th house with Venus.
Result : the person s wife will be frigid.
KHALWATA-YOGA
The ascendant must be malefic or be Sagittarius or Taurus and aspected by malefi
c planets.
Result : The person will be bald headed.
NISHTUR BHASHI YOGA (Harsh speech )
The Moon must be in conjunction with Saturn.
Result : The person will be harsh in speech. Note : If Jupiter aspects the Moon
- Saturn conjunction, the yoga gets neutralised.
If the aspecting planet is Mars, then the person will not only be harsh and blun
t in his speech but sarcastic also.
GAJKESHRI-YOGA
If Jupiter is in Kendra from the moon, the combination goes under the name Gajke
shri yoga.
Result : many relations, polite and generous, builder of a village or a town or
being a magistrate over them; will have a lasting
reputation even long after death.
SUNPHA-YOGA
If there are planets (excepting the sun) in the second house from the Moon.
Result : Self earned property, being a king, ruler or its equal, intelligent, we
althy and having a good reputation.
ANPHA-YOGA
Is present if there are planets in the 12th house from the Moon.
Result : well formed organs, majestic appearance, good reputation, polite, gener
ous, self respecting, fond of dress and sensual
pleasures. And in the latter part of life, renunciation and austerity (Sun is no
t taken into consideration ).
DHURDHURA -YOGA
If there are planets on either side of the moon.
Result : The native will be bountiful. He will be blessed with much wealth and c
onveyances.
KEMDRUMA - YOGA
When there are no planets on both sides of the moon.
Results : The person will be dirty, poor, dependent, sorrowful, doing unrighteou
s deeds, poor, dependent, a rogue and a swindler.
AMLA-YOGA
A benefic planet should occupy the 10th house from the Moon or Lagna. Result : T
he person will achieve lasting name, fame and
reputation. His character will be spotless and he will lead a prosperous life.
SHAKAT-YOGA
The moon in 6th ,8th or 12th house from Jupiter gives rise to shakat-yoga. Resul
t : The native loses fortune and may regain it.
He will be ordinary and insignificant. He will suffer from poverty, deprivation
and misery. He will be stubborn and hated by
relatives. Access to fortune is obstructed now and then.
VANCHANA CHOR BHEETI -YOGA
The Lagna is occupied by a malefic with gulika in a trine or gulika is associate
d with the lords of Kendras and
trikona; or the lord of lagna is combined with Rahu, Saturn or Ketu.
Results : the native will always entertain feelings of suspicion towards others
around him. He is afraid of being cheated,
swindled and robbed. He may have huge material losses.
RAJLAKSHANA -YOGA
Jupiter, Venus, Mercury and the Moon should be placed in Kendras. Results : the
native will posses an attractive appearance and he
will be endowed with all the good qualities of high personages.
VASUMATI -YOGA
If benefics occupy the 3rd ,6th ,10th ,11th (upchaya) house either from the Asce
ndant or from the Moon, the combination goes under
the name of Vasumati - yoga.
Result : The person will not be a dependent but will always command plenty of we
alth.
CHANDRA MANGAL-YOGA
If Mars conjoins the Moon, then this yoga is formed. Characteristics : Earning t
hrough unscrupulous means, a seller of women,
treating mother harshly and doing mischief to her and other relatives.
Note :
When Chandra Mangal yoga occurs in unfavourable houses, the native will have a d
ebased character. He may even sell his wife,
his sister, etc, and make money out of unscrupulous transactions.
ADHI-YOGA
If benefics are placed in 6th ,7th or 8th houses from the Moon, the combination
goes under the name of Adhi-yoga.
Characteristics : The person will be polite and trustworthy, he will have an enj
oyable and happy life. He will be surrounded by
luxuries and affluence, will inflict defeats on his enemies and will be healthy
and long-lived.
CHATUS SAGARA-YOGA
It is formed when planets occupy all kendras.
Results : The person will earn a good reputation, be an equal to a ruler and hav
e a long and prosperous life. He is blessed
with good children and health and his name will be known across the four oceans.

PARVATA -YOGA
Benefics being disposed in kendras, 6th and 8th houses should either be unoccupi
ed or occupied by benefic planets.
Results : The person becomes wealthy, prosperous, liberal, charitable, humorous
and head of a village. He is passionate as well.
KAHAL-YOGA
Lord of the 4th and 9th houses should be in kendras from each other and the lord
of Lagna should be strongly disposed.
Results : The native is stubborn, not well-informed, daring, head of a small arm
y and a few villages.
VASI-YOGA
Planets other than the moon occupying the 12th house from the Sun give rise to V
asi-yoga.
Results : The subject is happy, prosperous, liberal and a favourite of the rulin
g classes.
VESI-YOGA
If planets other than Moon occupy the 2nd house from the Sun, then Vesi-yoga is
formed.
Result : The person will be fortunate, happy, virtuous, famous and artistic in n
ature.
UBHAYACHARI - YOGA
If planets other than the Moon are present on either side of the sun then Ubhaya
chari-yoga is caused.
Results : The person is an eloquent speaker. He has well proportionate limbs. He
takes delight in every thing, is liked by all,
is wealthy and famous.
HANSA-YOGA
Jupiter should occupy a kendra, which should be in its own house or in an exalta
tion sign.
Results : Such a person s leg has a mark of conch, lotus, fish and ankusha. He pos
sesses a handsome body and is liked by others.
He is religious in disposition and pure in mind.
MALAVYA-YOGA
Venus should occupy a quadrant, which should be in its own sign or exaltation si
gn.
Result : The person has a well-developed physique, is strong minded, wealthy, ha
ppy with children and wife. He also has vehicles,
is renowned, learned and has clean sensing organs.
SASA-YOGA
Sasa-yoga arises when Saturn occupies a kendra which should be its own or exalte
d sign.
Results : The native commands good servants but his character will be questionab
le. He is the head of a village or a town or
even a king and will covert other's riches and will be wicked in disposition.
RUCHAK-YOGA
Mars should be exalted in a kendra or occupy a kendra, which should be its own s
ign.
Results : The person has a strong physique, is famous, well versed in ancient lo
re, is a king or equal to a king, conforms to customs
and traditions. He has a reddish complexion, attractive body, charitable disposi
tion, wealthy, long-lived and is a leader of an army.
BHADRA-YOGA
Bhadra-yoga is caused by the disposition of Mercury in his own sign or exalted s
ign in kendra.
Results : The native is strong, has a lion-like face, well-developed chest, well
proportionate limbs. He will be taciturn,
help relatives and live upto a ripe old age.
BUDHA ADITYA -YOGA
If Mercury ( Budha ) combines with Sun, this combination is termed as Budha adit
ya -yoga.
Results : Such persons are highly intelligent, skillful in all works, have a goo
d reputation, command personal respect and are
surrounded by all comforts and happiness.
MAHA BHAGYA - YOGA
Occurs : In the case of a man born in the daytime, the Sun, Moon and the Lagna s
hould be in odd signs. In case of a woman, the Sun,
Moon and Lagna should be in opposite signs.
Results : A male born under this yoga has a good character, is generous, liberal
, famous, ruler, long-lived and he is a source of
pleasure to others. Female will be long-lived have children, good character and
lots of wealth.
PUSHKALA-YOGA
The lord of the sign occupied by the Moon (who should be associated with the lor
d of Lagna) should be in kendra or in the house of
an intimate friend aspecting Lagna and at the same time, a powerful planet shoul
d occupy Lagna.
Results : the person is wealthy; has sweet speech, is famous, honoured by a king
and the lord.
LAXMI-YOGA
If the lord of Lagna is powerful and the lord of the 9th house occupies own or e
xaltation sign identical with kendra or
trikona then Laxmi-yoga is formed.
Results : the person is wealthy, noble, learned, a man of high integrity and rep
utation, handsome in appearance, a good ruler and
enjoying all the pleasures and comforts of life.
GAURI-YOGA
The lord of the Navamsa occupied by the lord of the 10th house should join the 1
0th house in exaltation and combined with the lord of
Lagna.
Results : The person belongs to a respectable family, owns several pieces of lan
d, is charitable, performs religious rites. His sons
are of good character and will praise him.
CHAPA-YOGA
Ascendant lord is exalted and the 4th and 10th house lords should have interchan
ged houses.
Result : The person will grace a king s council, is wealthy and full of strength a
nd be an exchequer or a comptroller of treasury.
Note : it is normally seen that this yoga makes one control the wealth of others
rather than make oneself rich i.e. occupations such
as bank cashier, financial secretaries, exchequers etc.
SHREENATH-YOGA
If the exalted lord of the 7th house occupies the 10th house and the Lord of t
he 10th house is with the 9th house lord.
Result : The native has on his body an insignia of lord Vishnu viz. the conch, t
he chakra, etc. He will be a good speaker, of Godly
nature, have a good wife, children and will be loved by all.
MAALIKA-YOGA
If all 7 planets continuously occupy the seven houses, reckoned from Lagna or an
y particular bhava, the appropriate Maalika-yoga is
caused. Results :
Lagna-maalika : king, ruler, commander and rich.
Dhana-maalika : very wealthy, dutiful, resolute and unsympathetic.
Vikrama maalika : ruler, rich, surrounded by brave men.
Sukha-maalika : charitable and wealthy.
Putra-maalika : highly religious and famous.
Shatru-maalika : greedy and somewhat poor.
Kalatra-maalika : coveted by women and powerful.
Randhra-maalika : poor and henpecked.
Bhagya-maalika : religious, well to do, mighty and good.
Karma-maalika : respected and virtuous.
Laabha-maalika : skilful and have a lovely woman.
Vyaya-maalika : honoured, liberal and respected.
SANKHA -YOGA
Is present when the lord of the 5th and 6th houses are in mutual kendra and the
lord of Lagna is powerful.
Results : The native is fond of pleasure, humanitarian, blessed with a good wife
, children, landed property, pious, has knowledge of
sciences and is long lived.
BHERI-YOGA
If Venus, the lord of Lagna and Jupiter are in mutual kendra and the lord of the
9th house is powerfully disposed.
Results : The native is long-lived, free from disease, ruler, having income from
various sources, has happiness from wife and
children, and is an exalted soul, generous and religiously inclined.
RAJJU-YOGA
When all planets are movable signs.
Results : The native is a wanderer, handsome, happy in foreign countries, cruel,
evil-natured and prosperous due to transfers.
MUSHAL - YOGA
All planets found to be in fixed signs.
Results : The native will have self respect, be wise, wealthy, respected in the
country, famous, have many sons, could become
an M.L.A. / hold a ruling position in the government.
NAL-YOGA
If all planets are in dual signs.
Result : Such native has either more organs or deformed organs (heen), accumulat
es lots of money, is very clever, diplomatic and
can be successful in elections.
SARPA-YOGA
When Sun, Saturn and Mars are placed in 4th, 7th or 10th houses and Moon, Jupite
r, Venus and Mercury are placed in houses other than
these.
Results : The native will be mean, poor, have a profession like begging, swindle

KAAL KRIT RAJ -YOG

Results : It gives the effect of bhoot and pisacha very easily.
PREMATURE EJACULATION YOGA
Is present when :
Moon is placed in Aries and Sun is placed in Cancer and Rahu, Venus or Saturn ar
e placed in exalted signs.
If Moon is in Ascendant and Saturn and Jupiter are placed in 5th houses.
If Saturn and Mercury are aspecting the ascendant of Virgo sign and Venus is pla
ced in Capricorn or Aquarius signs.
Results : These yogas give rise to premature ejaculation and the man cannot sexu
ally satisfy the woman.
EXCHANGE -YOGA
9th and 6th houses :
If there is an exchange of lord of 9th and 6th houses and 11th house lord is
in 9th house lord.
Results : Such natives earn lots of money by their own efforts and they get all
the comforts of life.
9th and 11th houses :
If there is an exchange of lords of 9th and 11th houses then such a native lives
a prosperous life throughout.
6th and 9th houses :
If there is an exchange of lords of 6th and 9th houses then the native loses all
parental property and he keeps bitter feelings

SAMLINGI SAHWAS YOGA (homosexual)
If Saturn and Venus are together and aspecting ascendant.

If ascendant is placed in 1st house in mooltrikona or exalted signs and with go
od planets. Above all there should be aspecting of
the ascendant lord.

SHIVA NAMAK-YOGA
If 5th house lord is placed in 9th house and 10th house lord is placed in 5th
house.

KUSHUM RAJ - YOG
If Moon is in 7th house, Sun is in 2nd house and Jupiter is in ascendant. Resul
ts : It gives effects at the age of 26 years and the
native becomes a king at this age.
CHAAP RAJ - YOG
Is present : if the lords of 3rd , 4th and 10th houses are placed in their hou
ses and Ascendant is exalted.
Results : Such a native becomes king at the age of 21years. He possesses lots of
wealth and he also proves to be a good warrior.
CHAKRA RAJ -YOGA
If Rahu is in the 10th house, 10th house lord is in ascendant and ascendant is
placed in the 9th house.

NAAG SANGYAK -YOGA
Wherever 10th house lord is placed, that house lord is placed in the 10th hous
e alongwith the ascendant.

NABHI SANGYAK -YOGA
If Jupiter is in the 9th house and 9th house lord is placed in the 7th house

PARVAT RAJ -YOGA
Wherever the ascendant is placed, that house lord is placed in trikona or Kendra
sthan or mooltrikona rashi or in its own house.

SHARP-YOGA
If all three evil planets ( Sun, Mars and Saturn) are placed in any of the two k
endrasthans and there are no auspicious planets in

BRAHMAVADINI - YOGA
In any female natal chart, if the ascendant is in an even sign and powered by th
e placements of Venus, Jupiter, Mercury and Mars.
Results : Such females become well known, well versed in Shastra and also know B
rahma Vidya.
VRAJA -YOGA
If there are good planets in 1st and 7th houses and evil planets in 4th and 1
0th houses.
Results : Such natives are happy in childhood and old age but they suffer during
teens / middle age.
VIDESH BHAGYAM-YOGA
When the Ascendant is in a movable sign (1,4,7,10), Ascendant is placed in movab
le sign or Ascendant is aspected by movable sign
planets.
Results : Such person s luck favours away from his own birthplace, and he is likel
y to be in another country.
SWADESH BHAGYAM -YOGA
If Ascendant is placed in fixed sign rashi or the sign of Ascendant is fixed or
Ascendant is having fixed nature planets or
aspecting it.
Results : Such persons need not go away from birthplace for a better life becaus
e they get success in their own area.
HARI-YOGA
If there are auspicious planets in 2nd , 12th or 8th houses from the second ho
use lord.
Results : such natives are learned, followers of truth, get all the comforts in
life, are sweet spoken, overpower the enemies,
are kind and doers of good.
HAR-YOGA
If Jupiter, Moon and Mercury are in 4th , 9th , 8th houses from the 7th house
lord.
Results : are like that of Hari -yoga.
BRAHM-YOGA
If Sun, Venus, Mars are placed in 4th , 10th , 11th houses from the lagnesh.
Results : are like that of Hari-yoga.
HIGHLY AMBITIOUS - YOGA
If all auspicious planets are in Ascendant and there is no aspect of evil planet
s on it, then the native achieves a high post in
life.
If the Ascendant lord is in 1st house and is aspected by friendly planets, then
such a native holds a high post in life.
If full Moon along with Jupiter are placed in 3rd or 6th or 10th or 11th houses
from the Ascendant, then such person gets an
important post in life.
If full Moon is in exalted rashi and there is aspect of auspicious planets then
such person gets a high post.
If any of the three planets are in own rashi or in exalted rashi, then such pers
