INSTRUCTION FOR TCS RECRUITMENT

WARNING: THOSE WHO ARE NOT ELIGIBLE, BUT REGISTERED.

THOSE WHO REGISTERED AND GOT CT No WITHOUT MEETING THE

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA OF 60% FROM X ONWARDS AND MORE THAN 2
ARREARS WILL BE PENALISED FOR CHEATING THE COLLEGE AND
COMPANY. THE PENALTY IS TERMINATION FROM COLLEGE AND
BLACKLISTING FOR ANY RECRUITMENT IN ANY COMPANY. PLEASE DO
NOT ATTEND IF YOU HAVE REGISTERED.

All eligible AND REGISTERED students for TCS SHOULD take the test and
attend interview if get shortlisted. Choice of second or subsequent
company is NOT ALLOWED. Failure to attend TCS will lead to
disqualification from attending future campus placements.

PROCESS

1. Pre placement talk – 8.30 a.m , 15th Dec 2010

Venue 1 – Main Seminar Hall – Those who attended camp, M.E & top
5 students of CSE, ECE, EEE, IT & MECH.

Venue 2 – Mini Seminar hall – For the rest

2. INTERVIEWS WILL START IMMEDIATELY AFTER PPT ON 15th DEC

FOR TOP 5 FROM CSE, ECE,EEE, IT AND MECH.

Venue : We will inform you. Please stay back in Main Seminar Hall.

PLEASE COME IN DRESS CODE AND INTERVIEW KIT ON 15th

ITSELF. All are requested to come with interview kit with 3 photographs,
copies of mark sheets and credentials. Those who don't have copies of
mark sheets can collect from placement cell. ORIGINALS ARE NOT
REQUIRED.

3. ON LINE TEST IN 3 BATCHES FOR THE REST AFTER PPT:

Batch Number, Lab room No, Name will be mailed before 3 p.m on
14th Dec 2010. It will be displayed in Ground floor and First floor of
Admin Block.

4. INTERVIEW FOR SHORTLISTED IN TESTS:

 INTERVIEW FOR THE SHORTLISTED IN FIRST WILL BE
CONDUCTED IMMEDIATELY AFTER 30 MINUTES OF THE TEST ON
15th DEC. SHORTLISTED WILL ASSEMBLE IN THE LOUNGE IN THE
GROUND FLOOR OF THE WORKSHOP BLOCK WHERE DESKS ARE
KEPT OUTSIDE.
All are requested to come with interview kit with 3 photographs, copies
of mark sheets and credentials. Those who don't have copies of mark
sheets can collect from placement cell. ORIGINALS ARE NOT
REQUIRED.

Interviews will be conducted for the shortlisted in batch 2 and batch 3

on 15th Dec AFTER batch 1. If TCS is unable to complete, then the
interviews will continue on 16th also.

KIT :

1. For test : Pencils, pen – Blue and black ( in case on line test fails),
Eraser, Sharpner, calculator ( if allowed you may take inside).
2. For Interviews : Resumes – 3 sets, Photos-3, Photostat copies of
mark sheets from X onwards upto the last semester, other certificates of
merit.
3. Dress Code : Gents – neatly shaved, polished shoes, shirts neatly
tucked in, belt, plain light colour shirts preferably full sleeve, dark
shaded pants. Jewels are not advisable.
Ladies : Decent dress. No sleeveless and No low cut. Properly
pinned.Minimum jewels.Decent foot wear.

TRANSPORT
All students irrespective of holding bus pass or not can use the college bus
for up and down on 15th and 16th Dec 2010. Please check the website for
routes and time. Buses will be operated after the end of the process in each
day .

FOOD & REFRESHMENTS

Food and refreshments will be provided free of cost to all for the 2 days. Food
will be served in Library Block Ground Floor. Students are requested to take
the above in time and keep them brisk at all time.

HCL TRAINING:

HCL Eligibility - Above 60% from X onwards- CSE, ECE, EEE, IT, MCA, M.E
(CSE, SE, PED, Com Sys) – NO STANDING ARREARS.
Those who don’t clear TCS test will attend HCL Training on 16th, 17th & 18th
Dec. They are requested to stay in hostel from 15th Night onwards.
Those who could not get selected in TCS Interview will attend the HCL
Training Programme on 17th and 18th. They may stay in hostel from 16th Night
onwards.
