Sub: Regular Arrear Examinations (Timed out Students, Present Final Year * FFCS /
CAL students and Pre-final Year * FFCS / CAL students & Approved Re-FATs -
Registration for Failed courses with 'F', 'N1' and 'N3' grades - reg.

* M.Tech (2018 & 2019), MCA (2018 & 2019), Other two year PG (2018 & 2019), Three
year UG (2017 & 2018), B.Tech (2016 & 2017), M.Tech/M.Sc -Integrated (2015 &
2016) & B.Arch (2015 & 2016)

Students * with 'F', 'N1' and 'N3' grades can Register for “Regular Arrear” Examination to
be scheduled in June 2020 and July 2020. Debarred students are not eligible for this process.
For Regular Arrear, Students should register for ALL the Components of a selected course.
Component wise registration is NOT permitted. For example, if a course has both theory and
laboratory components, the student should register for both theory and laboratory components to
clear the backlog, even though the student would have cleared either the theory or laboratory
component of that particular course. If a course has a J component, the student should appear for the
final review again. It will be considered equivalent to FAT for the project component of the course.
If a student fails to clear in the arrear examination, the student can once again register for the
subsequent arrear examination or for re-registration in subsequent semester again as a complete
course (all components).
No individual component of a course is permitted once someone register for an arrear
for that course.

 There is No ‘FAT as arrear’ option.

 Arrear registration for the Softskills courses, separate circular will be issued for the
registration.
 Re-FAT approved students should register, in this ‘Regular Arrear’ Registration
process and generate the invoice without payment. Otherwise their RE-FAT approval
will be automatically cancelled.
 Under No circumstances Late registration/ payment will be entertained.
 Students should register through V-Top and make necessary payments (Rs.1000 per
course).
 Kindly approach SDC office for any VTop login related issues.
