Guidelines for the presentations

Details of Presentation:

1. Each group will present on the following:


a. Develop the SCM for your CBR company
b. Identify the strength areas in the SCM and their impact (CBR company)
c. Identify the weaknesses in the SCM and their impact (CBR company)
d. Any Best practices followed by your CBR company?
e. Any innovative practices being used by them?
f. Compare the SCM of your CBR company with it’s nearest competitor
g. Suggestions for improvements
h. You could make valid assumptions, if any, in developing your presentation.
However, the assumptions made have to be clearly stated

Note: A sample presentation was made on ‘Amazon’ and the same is being
forwarded to you for information only. If any group has been assigned
‘Amazon’ as their CBR Company, the contents of the presentation circulated
can in no way be copied and replicated. The student’s in such a case would
have to come up with their own presentation.

Procedure for Presentation:

1. The first slide of the PPT presentation will display the CBR company name, Group
Number, Group member names and their roll numbers. The second slide would have the
sub-topics being covered by the group. The subsequent slides would give all SCM and
logistic details as indicated above
2. The group member will be allotted a sub-topic at the time of presentation by the
panelist(s)
3. The last slide would have all the reference links & details
4. You could add any other details which could make your presentation interesting and
conclusive

Duration of Presentation:

1. Each group will be given 15 minutes to present.


2. Those who present for less than 15 minutes will be assessed accordingly and also attract
negative marking

Assessment Criteria:

1. Though the group would present, each group member would be assessed
independently.
2. Parameters of assessment would be:
a. Content
b. Originality
c. Relevance of facts and data presented
d. Authenticity of the facts and data presented
e. Logical explanations given by each member
f. Articulation
g. Handling of question and answer session at the end

Absentees:

1. Everyone has to be present at the time of the presentation.


2. Any students going on live projects would be assessed on return at a time and date
when the panelists are available.
3. All students on live projects would have to submit a documentary proof, confirming
the same, signed by a competent authority and approved by Prof. Shagun Arora.
4. The absenting students would be responsible for informing me so that arrangements
can be made for their assessment accordingly.
5. Those who do not get their name registered after their return from their live project,
would not be assessed and would lose out on this component of their evaluation

Date, Time & Venue of Presentation:

1. The presentations would be held on 20th and 21st Jan, 2020 (Monday & Tuesday)
2. The venue and other pertinent details would be communicated to you shortly
