Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) is providing Statutory Services to the

exporters under STP/EHTP Scheme and also extending infrastructural facilities including
Internet Services and IPLC links. STPI at present has 51 centres at different locations in
the country.

STPI, Hyderabad has five sub centres at Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Warangal
and Kakinada.

The incumbents are liable to posting anywhere in these sub centres / anywhere in India.

STPI, Hyderabad invites applications for the following posts in the regular scale on
contract basis initially for a period of three years which is likely to be
regularized/extended/terminated depending upon the performance of the candidate during
the contract service.

General Information
1. No. of posts may vary.
2. The maximum age is relaxable as per Govt. of India rules. For SC/ST – 5 years, OBC
– 3 years
3. The selected candidates will be appointed on Contract Basis for 3 years initially
which may be regularized/extended/terminated depending upon performance during
contract service. However, persons working in Govt./ PSUs/Autonomous Bodies,
who apply through proper channel and get selected, could be considered for Transfer
(absorption) basis. Decision of the competent authority in STPI shall be final in this
regard.
4. Persons working in Central/State Govt./ PSUs/Autonomous Societies should send
their application through proper channel alongwith Vigilance/Disciplinary clearance
(please refer Part II of the application) and photocopies of their ACRs for the last five
years. However, an advance copy of application may be sent for consideration before
the due date.
5. The incumbent is liable to work any where in India or in any of the STPI centre and
required to work in shifts.
6. Experience in the relevant field should have been acquired after attaining the
minimum essential qualification(s).
7. Management reserves the right to:
a) Fix the criteria for shortlisting the candidates to be called for test and / or
interview.
b) Select the candidates for above posts based on the qualifications, experience, if
any, and performance in the test/interview
c) Appoint the incumbent in lower/higher scale
d) Fix higher percentage of marks for calling candidates for test and/or interview or
otherwise
e) Relaxation of experience in exceptional cases
 f) Relax the upper age limit as indicated above in the case of persons working on
Short Term contract basis directly appointed in STPI who have put in atleast one
year of continuous service as on the last date of receipt of application. For
departmental candidates upper age limit relaxation as per Government of India
rules.
g) Cancel and reject incomplete /unsigned applications and applications without
copies of requisite certificates.
8. Mere fulfillment of qualifications and experience requirements does not entitle
candidates to be called for test and/or interview.
9. STPI reserves the right not to fill up any of posts, if it so decides.
10. In case any candidate found ineligible on any ground even after his/her appointment,
his/her service will be terminated immediately without assigning any reason thereof.
11. Each application must be accompanied by a Demand Draft/IPO for Rs.100/- drawn in
favour of Software Technology Parks of India, Hyderabad. No other form of
payment will be accepted. The Demand Draft / IPO should have been issued on or
after the date of issue of this advertisement and not later than the last date of receipt
of application. Fee once paid shall not be refunded. SC/ST candidates are exempted
from payment of fee.
12. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post should use separate application
form and fee for each post. One application for multiple posts is liable for rejection.
13. Candidates will be permitted to answer the question in Hindi in written test as well as
during interview.
14. Candidates are warned that they should not furnish any false/misleading information /
document or submit any document which is defective or fabricated or otherwise
commit any act of misconduct in submitting the application form or during the course
of recruitment. In case any such case is detected by STPI at any stage, during or after
recruitment OR in case any candidate found ineligible on any ground, appropriate
action shall be taken against the candidate. Any litigation will be subject to the
jurisdiction of Hyderabad courts.
15. Applications in the prescribed format should be sent along with latest passport
photographs (2 Nos. - one pasted on the application form), attested copies of
certificates (attested by a Gazetted Officer) for all educational, technical
qualifications, Date of Birth and Caste Certificate, Experience Certificate. Envelop
should be superscribed with the advertisement No., Name of the Post applied.
