Building a Small CNC Dividing Head

No Natal, comprei uma adorável fresadora horizontal Rawyler a um bom

preço, que deve ser excelente para o corte de engrenagens e pinhões.
No entanto, com ela sendo uma máquina tão pequena, minha Mesa
Giratória CNC de 4 ″ não caberia na cama e eu precisava fazer alguma
coisa. Eu compilei este post de uma série de posts que fiz no forum
madmodder, então pode parecer um pouco desconexa:
Este projeto pinos-se na haste reta mandris ER disponível sujeira
barato no ebay como o eixo !! Eu pedi e recebi um ER16 com haste reta
de 12mm e um conjunto completo de pinças. Eu também vou executar este
divisor de um Nema 17 stepper. Eu vou estar usando um dos indexadores
de Kwackers para conduzir os motores.
Squared it up como John / Bogs nos mostrou como em sua construção
minimag. Alguns dos melhores conselhos já dados.
4 jaw for boring:
Lump of ally for the base was then cut and milled to size and shape:
The picture below shows the top sitting on the base. It has now been tapped in each
corner and bolted through from below.

And now with the worm wheel attached and spindle mounted. It is turning nicely so
looks like it will work just fine.

Still not finished it, but it is looking better:

Motor attached and although isn`t hooked up here, it is turning nicely using the
Kwackers indexer cnc controller.
As John stevenson said, I now need a cover for the gearing and also some slots milling
for clamping down.

It seems like it is going to be a good size for my horizontal miller! Now need a
matching tailstock!
